Great food, great space. Audubon Circle is a great place to grab a bite and a beer before heading over to catch a Sox game at Fenway or a concert on Lansdowne. It's just out of the way enough that the pre-game scene is mostly local and it doesn't get as crowded as the bars that are steps from the park or in Kenmore. When the weather is nice (baseball season) they open a great space in the back of the restaurant where you can sip one of the many beers on tap and enjoy the sun.

The menu is brief but well executed. The burgers and sandwiches that I've tried have never disappointed. The ketchup is homemade, which is usually a good sign in restaurants. They have many beers on tap (and keep a good rotation) and a substantial mixed drink list.

The restaurant can get crowded, but the bartenders are great, and you'll have no problem getting your hands on a drink while you wait for a table. Just be sure to give yourself about 15 minutes to get to your seats in Fenway in time for the first pitch.

Crazy point table. I've been here twice now. Once with three others, and once in a large group of about 12.

Both times the food was great. The drink selection is good too. They offer a few beers that I haven't seen anywhere else.

My only issue with this place is that both times I've gone, the waitstaff seems to be overwhelmed and very short with my group. I love to eat out, am a generous tipper, and am by no means a picky eater. Not sure if it was just the day or the person, but at a small place with a cool atmosphere I expected people to be a bit more friendly.

I'll definitely go back, if nothing else for the food (the hangar steak is YUMMY). And still have to try the outdoor patio!

Great Food! Impeccable Service. I stumbled across Audobon on a whim one afternoon about 2 years ago. We were looking for a late lunch and a drink or two before checking in to our hotel. Our waitress was Rabit (or atleast thats what it said on the slip) she was absolutely the most attentive and friendly waitress I have ever had. She made terrific suggestions and made our overall experience terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Boston. Last time i was in Rabit was still there! The food is also very good. Everytime I come back to the city I come in for a meal.

Those looking to avoid Fenway's rowdy student crowds hit this trendy establishment to enjoy one of the city's best burgers.. The Scene
Standing in stark contrast to the Fenway area's numerous beery sports bars and college dives, Audubon provides area residents and less jocular Sox fans with a stylish, and affordable, drinking and dining option. The minimalist interior evokes European chic, thanks to lots of deep woods and black accents--it's similar to sister establishments Middlesex Lounge and Cambridge, 1. Pleasant waitresses deliver pitchers of American microbrews from the angular bar.

The Food
Perfect for post-game noshing, the menu features several inventive appetizers and sandwiches. Top starters include lightly fried pot stickers (served in a Chinese takeaway carton) and a roasted vegetable quesadilla with cilantro sour cream. The affordable sandwich list contains several pressed options (green apple and Brie) and a juicy, locally renowned burger. After 4pm, a troika of entrees are served--try the grilled tuna steak with banana salsa.

Fitz. I went to this restaurant/ bar a couple weeks ago. Fantastic service, extremely friendly waitress, and the best schnitzel I have had outside of Germany. I plan on going back with my girlfriend ASAP.

NONEXISTENT Service, Absentee Management-Don't Bother :(. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Seriously, I can't even believe Audobon has so many comments about the "excellent service." My boyfriend and I sat down at a table on a fairly quiet Tuesday night (there is no hostess...you just sit and wait for a server.) We waited for 15 minutes as we watched the servers daydreaming in the back. We waited patiently while no one came over to take care of us, and then a table of 2 guys came in and sat down. There was a server at their table within 3 minutes. My boyfriend asked for a manager...there was not one one site. The server he spoke to was not apologetic and really could not have cared less. So, it's a bunch of ignorant college kids running this establishment?! My boyfriend and I were SO disgusted.....we left. In my opinion, the service is HORRENDOUS, so who cares about the food? We walked over to Eastern Standard where we were treated very well and had an awesome salad and burger! We will never go back to Audobon (and it's a 5 minute walk from our home.) DON'T EVEN BOTHER WALKING INTO AUDOBON!!

It's a bar but I only go for the food. This place has quickly won me over. I've been there several times now and I never get sick of their grilled chicken with greens, lemon cilantro dressing with cranberries and sugar-coated pumpkin seeds. Yummy! Service is always good and you can't complain about a place that offers such good food, decent service, and afforadable prices. I don't drink so I only go there purely for the food, and yes, it's just that good when you think about how they manage to pull everything together so well.

Great bean burger. Love this place! Service, location, and menu. The only thing to stay away from is the chili. Not really a chili, is more of a mix of random ingredients. It is a great place, very cozy; and a good alternative from all the nonsense during Red Sox games.

A great local bar and restaurant. This is one of my favorite bars! The atmosphere is great... soft lighting, modern sleek design, and there is even an outdoor seating area in warm months. Televisions are inobtrusively hung above the bar for those who want to keep up with sports and there is a decent selection of beer. The menue is small, but varied. The food is consistantly wonderful! Favorites include the potstickers, the white bean paste, and any sandwhich on the menue. Great for dinner and drinks out with friends or a dinner date.

Boston Wannabe. This place is simply well-managed. I have been here on 5 or 6 occasions and the old-fashioned service (as well as a quality product) just keeps me coming back. Anyone can serve a cold beer and great meal (or snack), but few do it while catering so completely to the customer. In this day and age, this place simply does not fit with the fast paced, SELF oriented style of modern business style.
