“good choice for the romantic dinner”
“The appetizer was wonderful and so were our entrees (we had one french and one cambodian, both extremely tasty and original) and then ended with a typical french chocolate layer cake.”
“They have a great eclectic menu and a great wine list.”
“Prices were insanely overpriced and the authenticity of Cambodian food was far from met.”

“The service is better than most restaurants in boston, but i guess it always depends on who you get as a server, I have my favorites :) It is a little pricy but it is a great place for a date.”
“We won't return because of the slow service.”
“The service is also great.”

“let us wait 10 minutes although the place was not full.”
Succulent Duck. My friend and I made reservations so we could find out what a mixture of French and Cambodian cuisine would taste like. I ordered the duck and she ordered the lamb. We also had the cheese appetizer which was delicious! The waitstaff catered to our every need and were very friendly. The hardest part about eating at this restaurant is deciding which of the delectable entrees to order. The food and service were both perfect, but the atmosphere would probably be better suited to a couple on a date. Food this good is usually a lot more expensive, too!
Makes for a Happy Birthday. We had a wonderful server who really made this a great dinner for the birthday guest of honor. Our reservation was honored with a prepared table set up with many pitchers of water. Our waitress was great; she was attentive and always polite despite our constant mind changing! The food was all unique and tasty - both french and cambodian. I loved my pomegranate margarita. My partner loved his french game hen. And we all loved each and every dessert.
OMG! This place is great!. Ive been quite a few times now and I absolutely love this restaurant, the food is great! I love being able to switch from a cambodian soup to a french dinner. The tuna and filet mignon are so tasty! I have never had a bad experience here and im shocked to see so many unhappy reviews. The service is better than most restaurants in boston, but i guess it always depends on who you get as a server, I have my favorites :) It is a little pricy but it is a great place for a date. Me and my boyfriend love to go here. The food list and wine list are huge too. You can always find something that you would like. Definitely recommended
Great Place!!!. This place is awesome for a date or with a group. They have a great eclectic menu and a great wine list. The service is also great. The waiter I had knew a great deal about the menu and wines. Try to go early for dinner and you won't wait very long.
Good food but SLOW service. The mouan kroeung was flavorless and the filet de saumon pane au gratin de choux-fleur was bland. My husband ordered the crevettes kep-sur-mer which was very flavorful. Our friend ordered the grilled baby back ribs with shanghai noodle which was very tasty. The service was slow from the get-go. We had to ask for her several times. At least she left the water pitcher so that we didn't have to keep asking for more. Very slow service. We won't return because of the slow service.
Creative Menu. I loved the creative menu. The service was professional and the ambience is nice. I would go again for sure. The sauce on the steak was out of this world.
avoid. Went in evening. Party of 4 well behaved adults ages 16-49. Despite a prior reservation a young female hostess looked perplexed/soure faced...let us wait 10 minutes although the place was not full. Had a male waiter with an obvious attitute...answered quetions about menue in a sarcastic/condscending grim. Noisy. Very average food.
Overrated, although food is decent. This restaurant was really hyped up, but was overrated. The food was good, but very pricey. It is typical fusion food with some southeast asian flavors added in. The ambience is good, but again, you can find many other restaurants in Boston that are better.
Awesome....
This place is awesome. Both my date and I loved it.
I made reservations ahead of time, which i would suggest anyone to do. Our waitress was fantastic. We started with oysters (extremely fresh), and naitang (must try). We both ordered from the Cambodian selecions of the menu. Although i can't recall the names, they were both authentic, original, and extremely flavorful. We finished the meal by spliting the strawbery and banana crepes. You will not be dissapointed!!!!
Have No Fear!. When you need a restaurant to impress someone with your worldliness, good taste and sense of adventure without breaking the bank, The Elephant Walk is the place to go! They have both French and Cambodian dishes so you can bring your boss or aunt, and they'll find something they like while you try the more exotic Cambodian food. And wait 'til you try it! Its like nothing else. Soooo good. And who is the handsome manager that walks around in the cool suits on the weekends? I love this place. Kudos to the owners and the staff!
