Worst Experience. Took double the time (and price) I was quoted for move; damaged several items, with many delays (and an array of lame excuses for delays) during filing claim. Terrible communication all-around. Would never recommend this company.

Negative Stars Deserved - SCAM!!!. What a joke of a company!! Completely dishonest, is not looking to meet customer's satisfaction and completely lacks in owning up to responsibility!!

Had my items shipped from Boston to San Jose, CA - everything arrived, however, two pieces arrived broken (one in shambles).

After submitting my claim form, I was denied!!!! A pedestal table had a small broken piece but still attached to the body- one total piece - it arrived in 5000 pieces! The delivery guy stated that the item was not properly packaged for cross country shipment.

An antique mirror with a detached woodwork sent - one complete piece, however, the frame broke and arrived in three pieces (mirror completely disattached)! Not properly packaged - just shoved in a box with a sheet; completely lacked padding, etc knowing that this was a FRAGILE item!

Photos of my furniture were provided but because these items were "BROKEN" prior to delivery, Michael's Movers is not responsible - when asked why MM doesn't inform clients of this "company policy", Alex S (a-hole and person responsible for approving and denying claims) stated that if Michael's Movers clients were informed, MM wouldn't make "business".

Called and left messages for the owner, Michael, another a-hole - no response, callback, acknowledgements or re-evaulation of my items/form.

Reporting to the Better Business Bureau - this company is TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have used these guys MANY times. I was referred by a friend years ago to Michael's Movers and have used them for every move since. They show up when they say they're going to, and are fast, yet respectful of and careful with people's belongings. Have sent them to tons of friends over the years and have only heard really good reviews from them as well!

Totally recommend!

A big scam. 1) I was charged for items that didn't get shipped (i.e. an extra bookcase was on the list of items that I didn't own)

2) I was charged for supplies and labor that I didn't use (charged for boxes that didn't exist)

3) I was charged over $1,000 more than quoted (more than twice the quote amount) because of extra cubic feet used for 10 extra boxes that weren't on the original quote

4) The movers packed my belongings using their boxes, when I had containers of my own which were empty, and charged me for the extra boxes, labor to pack them and supplies to pack them without my permission.

5) The identification system they use to make sure nothing is lost and to be sure you recieve all your items, was totally wrong, meaning I really have no idea if all my belongings were shipped by them.

6) When asked for a detail of charges the response I received was that I had extra items, but was unable to tell me exactly how the charges were brought about

I have to say, the actual moving part was mostly well done. Nothing was damaged, the movers were nice and helpful and, as far as I can tell, all of my items were received.

I DO NOT recomend you use this company unless you want to be charged for services never rendered and don't want to know exactly what you're being charged for.

The best decision I made this year. Highly recommended by a co worker

They gave me an estimate that fitted my budget,

Accommodate me in a very short notice

Moved my apartment faster then estimated so I used the difference to tip the guys,

And the next day I was back at work

"Gentle Reliable Strong " Yes they are!!!. Michael?s Movers Rocks!!!

This is the second time we move with Michael?s, both times the movers did an outstanding job from the time the packing crew came into to our house till the last item was carried in! Gabriel and his crew were polite and professional and helped to make this move a fast and pleasant experience.

We highly recommend using Michael?s Movers, whether you move locally or across the country.

will be a repeat customer!!. I recently moved from Worcester to Watertown effortlessly. Everyone from the salesman,to the moving crew couldnt have been more courteous and professional. They worked efficiently, and with care to my personal belongings. Upon arrival to my new apartment, I was relieved to see that everything had arrived not only in a timely fassion, but in perfect condition.

The only "extra" charge for me was packing materials. This did not come as a suprize to me though, as it was mentioned to me in the original email correspondence,as well as over the phone.

Though moving is a stressful time,perhaps we should pay closer detail to whats being said to us...in oder to avoid these complications.

Overall, besides a little dirt on my kichen floor (which they actually offered to sweep), I am extremely satisfied and will be a repeat customer. My mother is moving cross country shortly,and Michaeles Movers is the ONLY company I would trust to move her.

carefull, you have been warned !!!. keep away,that's all I would say.....

it just makes me too angry to think about what happned so i won't write it again.
