“While Fenway Park certainly has a number of faults it is still a truly fun place to take your son and daughter.”
“Miss the Big O, served beer right at your seats, as many you wanted, there was no cut off,for less than 20bucks I could sit back and V. Guerro do his warm ups in the outfield yards away.”
“If you feel like paying 10 times the price for parking, pushing your way through thousands of drunks die-hard baseball fans, paying ridiculous prices for crappy food that you wait 20 minutes in line for all to sit back in your tin seat covered in sode to ”
“Fenway park is a great place they are the oldest park in the us and have the best fans and players they are a great team and now world champ.”
“Great people watching.”
“There is a huge sense of pride and joy.”
“Fenway is nice to visit if your a tourist, but if you frequent enough games during the season, the comfort level drops really quick.”
FENWAY PARK IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS..... Fenway Park has the most loyal dedicated fans, being able to watch a game there is an incredible experience... theres never an empty stadium... not only is there history but theres awesome players. Fenway is an amazing experience, that any baseball fan should not pass up... after their winning of the world series its been nothing but a dream.... FENWAYS THE BEST AND FOREVER WILL BE!!
Great place to visit would hate to live there!.
It's not just the seat that you are sitting in that is small it's that the seat in front of you is caste iron and it rides right in middle of your knee cap! And it hurts! I'm 6ft and have short legs and I only made it to the 6th inning!
As for the rest of the park ist like stepping back 50 years, a real treat but I won't want to go everyday! Once in a life time, yes but not everyday!
love fenway!!!!. We are from colorado and we were visiting some friends in Boston. My husband suggested that we get Red Sox Tickets. What a fun place... you feel like a true American when you are at Fenway. The food was great too! I will make it a point to visit Fenway everytime we are in Boston. We got to see the Red Sox play the season they won the world series.. that was awesome. I have a Red Sox sweatshirt that I bought and I get comments on it all the time, even in Colorado there are Red Sox Fans.!!!
Fenway Park-unique and enjoyable experience.
Fenway Park should be a place that all baseball fans visit once in their lives. Is the stadium old? Yes, but with that comes a history rich in tradition. I'm sitting in the seats that my great grandparents saw games in, Watching the mechanical scoreboard move just like my grandfather did, it's amazing. Going to a game is not a cheap trip at all, but it's worth it. There's more to Fenway than just the park. Unlike some stadiums (ex. Yankee stadium), you can hang around outside, before and after the games.
Fan attendance is outstanding, and you'll never find a more knowledgeable group. If you ever get a chance to go, you should.
Fenway is baseball's jewel. Parking? That's a ratings category for a BALLPARK? What a joke! As ballparks should be, Fenway is urban. If you're dumb enough to not take the T, you deserve to pay $50 to park. America's Most Beloved Ballpark is, simply put, the best place on earth to watch a ballgame. As Derek Lowe recently said, "At other stadiums, you look into the stands and you see colors. At Fenway, you see faces." The same is true when watching the game from the stands. Tickets are nigh on impossible to get, but well worth the effort. Baseball the way it was made to be seen.
OverHyped Ballpark. Fenway with my dad in the 80's, these are memories that can't be replaced. Truth is this place is not worth visiting anymore. Tickets, parking, food, for one game is the highest in league. If you can even ticket, they are all sold out to corporate.I'm treated like a terrorist if I want a beer because I have a NH license, they don't accept that and food, big bucks.Bathrooms/Seating sucks Don't let you in anymore to see batting practice/warmup.Parking wretched, take the green line and cram in.Those great suasage vendors.Go elsewhere. Pittsburgh is amazing. Miss the Big O, served beer right at your seats, as many you wanted, there was no cut off,for less than 20bucks I could sit back and V. Guerro do his warm ups in the outfield yards away. New stadium in Manchester, Fishercats, can't wait to relax, bring the kids, sip a beer, hold the wife and watch Americas past time.
Fenway forever. The city of Boston and Red Sox fans around the world can breath a sigh of relief. Sox ownership has announced that Fenway will be the teams home until at least 2012. Let me promise you that the seats and prices have no effect on the deep emotions being inside the stadium conjures. If you have not seen a game here, you should, and if you have, you cannot deny the lure to see another. The curse may be broken, but the soul of Fenway will always inspire each individual who sits in her seats.
Does it get any better?. Fenway Park is not just a baseball stadium its a landmark of the the city, baseball and America. So take the family, office or a group of buddies for a truely worthwhile night at the ballgame
best baseball park there is. There is no other experence like going to Fenway. The most historic and the most fun with the best team, plus if you can some how get tickets to a Yankee game it is a once in a life time experence.
Baseball Cathedral.
If you are a baseball fan and in Boston, go to a game, period. I also recommend the tour of the park ($8).
Don't believe people that say most seats are obstructed or that the seat are unbearable. If you can't fit in the grandstand seat, which are original, you should be worrying more about your weight than how small the seats are. They aren't that small. And Fenway is so small that you are never that far from the action.
Don't drive to the game, take the T to the Kenmore stop.
There's a reason that all the new parks have copied various features of Fenway. Go see the original.
