Child's Play.
The Children's Museum! Many Boston transplants see it and never step foot in it until they spawn offspring and use it as a potential day trip when the aquarium's been exhausted one too many times. The beauty of the Children's Museum, however, is that for the young at heart, this place is a fantastic spot for those who really want an enjoyable experience out of the ordinary. Blow giant bubbles, or go through a fantastic relic of an authentic Japanese house! Everything at the Children's Museum is fair game with the exception of the jungle gyms (please do not attempt!). And feel free to use the remaining time of the weekend concocting magnificent lies to cover for your amazing trip.
Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. I won't tell on you, pinky swear!

Play was never so much fun, or as educational, as in this renovated Fort Point warehouse..

Children's Museum exhibit designers pioneered many of the exhibits now found at similar museums around the world--giant soap bubbles, ramps to roll marbles down (while grasping Newtonian laws of motion). There are four floors of activities (and a couple of labyrinths in between) to check out. On your way out, treat the kids to some educational toys and games at one of the best gift shops in the Boston area.

This is Wonderful Place for Family .... This is the best children museum that we had ever visit; it has lots of demo and shows and lots of activities that kids enjoy, even adults have lots of fun. I would certainly come back again, and I would recommend to any family, wealthy or poor. Every Friday 5pm to 9pm it has low $1 per person admission that is very affordable. Or you can join the membership that entitles you not only this museum free but also other 200+ museums ...

Boston Institution. Excellent place for familes to spend the day! A Boston institution. I went there as a child and can bring my children now. Never a dissapointment. Try not to go on a school holiday though. Can get crowded.

Good for kids & everyone young at heart.. I'm 20 and even I enjoyed crawling around the museum.
