In Short – Children's Museum exhibit designers pioneered many of the exhibits now found at similar museums around the world--giant soap bubbles, ramps to roll marbles down (while grasping Newtonian laws of motion). There are four floors of activities (and a couple of labyrinths in between) to check out. On your way out, treat the kids to some educational toys and games at one of the best gift shops in the Boston area.

This is the best children museum that we had ever visit; it has lots of demo and shows and lots of activities that kids enjoy, even adults have lots of fun. I would certainly come back again, and I would recommend to any family, wealthy or poor. Every Friday 5pm to 9pm it has low $1 per person admission that is very affordable. Or you can join the membership that entitles you not only this museum free but also other 200+ museums ...
- Pros: well worth the money, learn a lot for adult, lots of fun for kids

Excellent place for familes to spend the day! A Boston institution. I went there as a child and can bring my children now. Never a dissapointment. Try not to go on a school holiday though. Can get crowded.
- Pros: Fun filled, Memorable
- Cons: Crowded on school bre
Good for kids & everyone young at heart.
