Response to May 2nd review. We are sorry to hear that you have had a recent poor experience with our practice. Patient/parent feedback is extremely important to us and we are constantly striving to improve ourselves so as to ensure that we provide the best care anywhere in pediatic dentistry and orthodontics.

We have experienced substantial patient growth (we'd like to think it's because patients like us!) over the years, and in recognition of this, recently expanded our physical space and added on an additional orthodontic and preventive dentistry suite. We did this so as to ensure that we can meet the appointment needs of all our patients. We are now able to offer more continuing care (aka cleaning/checkups) appointments during the morning and after school hours. The time available for our patients undergoing orthodontic treatment has also increased, with orthodontics available four days a week.

We know that our patient's time is valuable, and that most parents would prefer that their children not miss any school. As a convenience, we recommend that all our patients schedule their 6 month checkup appointments while checking out. We also offer Saturday hours throughout the year, which are extremely popular, and as a courtesy, we do ask patients to inform us if they are unable to keep their appointments. As parents ourselves, we do understand that there are times when cancellations are beyond anyone's control and only ask that we are notified in advance.

Dental insurance is a valuable benefit for our patients and we always inform parents of any out of pocket costs associated with treatment that we recommend. All insurance plans have differing levels of coverage, some better than others, which means while some insurances require a larger co-pay, others will cover the full amount. This level of coverage is negotiated between one's employer and the dental insurance company, and as much as we would like , we unfortunately have no control over what is covered by a patient's insurance plan.

Very busy & more expensive than most other dentist offices.. They have too many patients and not enough available appointments. I originally started bringing my children here 10 years ago. They were good for the first few years and it has been downhill since then. Getting an appointment is like "pulling teeth"! Unless of course you want to have to take your child out of school everytime. The staff besides are not very personable either. The Orthondontist works only 1 1/2 days per week. It takes weeks to get an appt. and its always middle of the day times which is not ideal for middle/high school ages children! They say they offer early mornings 1 day a month....but you need to schedule months in advance to even get an appt. The costs for services are also much higher than other dentist office. Normally Delta Dental would cover the majority of services but with their higher costs I am always receiving bills! Not to mention I had to cancel 1 time and I called 23 hours ahead to let them know and they want to charge me a $60 fee for cancellation. That is absurd considering the dentist has cancelled on us on a couple occasions! Definitely better pediatric dentist office out there at a more reasonable prices and with nicer staff members. I would not recommend them.
