Some stylists are better than others. I have been there several times over the past few years, and have had a range of service. Depending on who I was seeing that day, I could be taken right away, or I could find myself waiting for over 45 mins. Recently, I made an appointment for an updo with one stylist, who left me waiting because her friend came in without an appointment and bumped me. If I wasn't so desperate for the updo, I certainly would have left. Now I only make appointments with one stylist in particular, and she has been fantastic - prompt, friendly, and does great work.

Left Waiting. I went there for my scheduled appointment a little early- talked to receptionist who said she would tell the hairdresser I was there. I then sat there for 35 minutes - as people came and went and no one spoke to me -- I then left. It nice that they don't have to worry about the customer in these economic times--I would never recommend this place.................

Excellent haircuts for reasonable price.. I've been going there now for about 2 years and I think I get a great haircut. There are a few other salons on that strip, such as Fischers (who does a fantastic job) but Giovanna's prices are much much more reaonsable and I think they do fantastic!

Poor customer service. I arrived for my 7:00 appt. (with the owner) 10 minutes early and was told that she would be with me shortly. At 7:30, the receptionist told me that my hairdresser/owner was running late because her previous appt. showed up late. First of all, it seems to me that since I was on time and this client showed up after me (and very late) that I should have been taken and she should have waited. Ten minutes later I saw one hairdresser whisper to a second one. The second one then came over to me and told me that my hairdresser would be with me in about 10 minutes. So far I had been waiting for 50 minutes after my scheduled time and she still wasn't ready for me. I left. Since the owner was so inconsiderate of my time and and also couldn't take the time to speak to me (when I saw them whisper, I realized that she was directly in front of me the whole time--I didn't know who she was until then), I didn't tell them that I was leaving. I know that appointments run over, and I've waited in the past, but never this long and it was obviously preferential treatment for a regular customer. Would the owner have allowed one of her hairdressers to treat a customer that way? Very doubtful.

User review by fantastiki. I've been going here on and off for 8 years. Although they do great work, I'm looking for a change. I've never left unhappy, although some stylists are better than others. Overall, a great place with skilled stylists and reasonable pricing.
