“The pricing is a little higher than Applebeesor the 99 and for good reason, if you want great food and service go to Campanales, if you looking to just eat whatever has just popped out of a microwave go to one of the chains.”

Best Italian in Braintree. Have been here a few times and always very happy with the service and the food quality. The wine list is extensive and the pasta is always cooked perfectly, never too over done like some other local places. My husband loves their pizza, very authentic Italian style. It is usually crowded on weekend nights but the service is always attentive and friendly. Great for a date night or family dinner without having to go into the North End and fight for parking!

Comfy bistro like setting. I have been to Campanales on more than one occasion, and the reason I keep going back is because the food is absolutely delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere is different every time. I've eaten the jumbo stuffed losbter raviolis that I expected to be only half filled and with small portions but to my surprise they were stuffed and the sauce that was served over it was the perfect touch. The steak tips were so juicy and tender when I did finish I just wanted more. The pasta is always cooked to perfection. While some nights it does get crowded, and seating can be relatively close to the next table, it is still a great place to experience. With a fine dinner menu for you and a date also a childrens menu if you cant find a sitter that night. The service is great, they are very helpful and friendly. The pricing is a little higher than Applebeesor the 99 and for good reason, if you want great food and service go to Campanales, if you looking to just eat whatever has just popped out of a microwave go to one of the chains.

GREAT. This place was incredible!! This is the best Italian food that I have ever eaten. The portions were huge and delicious. And, as a response to other people's comments about charging extra for pasta, I don't know what restaurants you go to, but every single Italian one I went to charges you extra for pasta!

Rip off!!!. I went there with my friends the other night. The food was awful. I agree the sauce could be compared with ragu. Over priced....Glorified Venitian!! Bar area is awful...dark and gloomy. There are much better restaurants in the area in that price range. Don't waste your money here!!!

Great Chicken Parm. I dined there Saturday night with my Boyfriend and it was a nice atmosphere. This food was unreal. The chicken parm was one of the best i have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone.

HOGS Feb-05. OK first of all, when you go to a nice restaurant and they serve soda in 10oz glasses the refills are not free. The food was excellent the ambiance was also very nice. The appitizers were a little overpriced for the quantity and we did wait a little longer than normal for our main course but when it came it was great and I substituted potato for my pasta (no charge) and it was reasonably priced. The HOGS recommend this Campanele's

Very Disappointing. Our party of 5 dined here this evening to celebrate a special occasion and left feeling ripped off. We ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta and each of us were charged $2 extra for the angel hair! Apparently, only ziti or linguini are complimentary! The chicken did not taste fresh and was very tough. The tomato sauce was on par with Ragu. They even charged us for soda and coffee refills and the glasses were tiny! We'll never dine here again.
