SAGAMORE PLACE IMPROVEMENTS. IN MARCH OF 2008 I AND OTHER LIKE MINDED PEOPLE WERE PUT IN AS THE NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES AS AFTER 10 YEARS OF AUTHORITARIAN RULE BY THE OLD BOARD PEOPLE WERE INDEED FED UP. WE INSTANTLY STARTED MAKING COSMETIC CHANGES SUCH AS NICE LANDSCAPING AND EFFICIENT SNOW REMOVAL AND TACKLED THE PROBLEM OF A DERELICT POOL HOUSE BY DOING A $200,000.00 RENOVATION OF THE SWIMMING POOL WHICH WAS COMPLETED IN THE FALL OF 2009. WE BOUGHT COMFORTABLE FURNITURE FOR OUR LOBBY AS OPPOSED TO THE HARD FURNITURE THAT THE OLD BOARD HAD PUT THERE TO DISCOURAGE LOBBY USE. WE PUT IN A BOOK EXCHANGE AND FREE WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS TO FURTHER ENCOURAGE THE USE OF THIS VALUABLE AREA AND HELP TO PROMOTE A SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY. PICNIC TABLES WERE BOUGHT FOR THE PINE GROVE AND FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS WE HAVE ENJOYED THREE POT LUCK TYPE PICNICS DURING THE WARM WEATHER WITH THE ASSOCIATION PAYING FOR BURGERS HOT DOGS AND SUCH AND EVERYONE ELSE BRINGING A HOME MADE DISH. IN THE SPRING OF 2010 OUR NEWLY RENOVATED SWIMMING POOL WILL OPEN FOR ITS FIRST FULL SEASON AND THE CHILDREN AND PARENTS FROM THE BUILDING WILL BE ENJOYING IT AND EACH OTHERS COMPANY. SINCE MAY 2009 WE HAVE HAD THE WORLDS NICEST BUILDING SUPERINTENDENT WHOS NAME IS WAYNE AND HE GREETS MOST PEOPLE EVERY MORNING AND KNOWS MOST PEOPLE BY NAME. WAYNE IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO LEND A HELPING HAND TO MOST ANYONE IF THEY NEED IT AND IS TRULY A BEAUTIFUL PERSON. SINCE MARCH OF 2008 WE HAVE ADDED OVER $100,000.00 TO THE RESERVE FUND AND HAVE INSTITUTED MANY COST SAVINGS PROGRAMS WHICH HAVE ALLOWED US TO MAKE MANY BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS WITH NO SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS. THIS BOARDS CURRENT POLICY IS TO BUILD UP THE RESERVE FUND NOW THAT THE POOL HAS BEEN COMPLETED TO FORESTALL THE NEED FOR ANY EMERGENCY ASSESSMENTS. WE HAVE A 24 HOUR STAFF AND SINCE MARCH 2008 WITH THE ADDITION OF ADDITIONAL CAMERAS AND SIGNS WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY ACTS OF VEHICLE VANDALISM OR THEFT AND IN THE 18 YEARS THAT I HAVE LIVED HERE THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE APARTMENT BREAK IN DUE TO OUR ONSITE SECURITY. A LITTLE OVER TWO YEARS AGO OUR BUILDING WAS SEALED AT A COST OF ROUGHLY $1,000,000.00 AND DUE TO THIS THERE ARE NO LEAKS. ALL INTERIOR PAST DAMAGE WAS ALSO REPAIRED. THE SEAL JOB WILL HAVE TO BE REVIEWED IN 2014 AND COULD LAST WELL BEYOND THAT. SO EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE STILL SOME PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING WHO ARE ANTI SOCIAL AND HATE WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN THE NAME OF COMMUNITY THIS BOARD WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT TO MAINTAIN THE VALUES THAT WE FOUGHT SO HARD TO GAIN OVER TEN YEARS. THE BUILDING IS NOW ROUGHLY 70% ASIAN AT THIS POINT AND THERE ARE A FAIR AMOUNT OF FAMILIES WHO NOW LIVE HERE WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO A NICE CROSS GENERATIONAL ATMOSPHERE. UNBEARABLE BUILDING IN QUINCY. This building is ridiculous! The trustee is only trying to now talk about changes which I do not see since living in this crazy building. They need to not have trustees in charge at all. They are the ones that continue to make living in the building unbearable. They cannot keep anyone in their management office with common sense because the trustees have their hands all in everything that is trying to be done. They hang near the office and talk about the tenants that come through. They continue to suffocate the tenants that live there with their rules and fines for stupid things. Make you feel like you have no rights and they can say and do what they feel like. Their own management office harasses the tenants. I've heard of stalking and sexual harrassment from the management office. You definitely have no privacy. The trustees need to be abolished because they are only hurting the owners who are trying to rent their condo. I cannot wait until my lease is over because I will not look back and definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone.…

We are working hard to change things around.. I understand a lot of you have not been satisfied with how this building was managed. This new body of trustees as of March of 2008 will not tolerate unreasonable rule enforcement. We are here to improve living condition of all residents.
