"USED to HAVE the BEST Gen Gau, no longer.... :(. Back in 2004/2005 even up to sometimes after complaining and them cooking a batch with the Mananger overseeing, Gen Gau was GREAT!!! My co-worker and I ordered 4 times the Last Time 9/5/09. Complaints are: clumpy/hard wh rice, sauce all over the bag not the food, delivery over an hour and the food cold and dried out. It is no longer reasonable when you cannot enjoy it. Very dissappointed in the quality and the delivery. I have made three meals out of it reheating in micro and breaks apart with your fork, yesterday when delivered I could not get my fork into the chicken. Very, Very, Very dissappointed I would not give it a ONE, but I had to pick 1 to 5, I would give a NEGATIVE TEN...

Abington location has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD!! We ordered combo meals and the bill was added up incorrectly (as if we'd ordered every item individually) The server would not change it b/c he said "we had already eaten the food!" The manager came over and said the same thing. A second manager came over and asked the server what had happened, and the server LIED. The managers would not listen to me. They never offered an apology for how they were treating me. They REFUSED to change my bill, only doing so after I started yelling at them about the way they were treating me. Needless to say, the server did not get a tip, and I will never go back there again. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED DECENTLY. THEY ARE MONEY-GRUBBING LIERS!

Good chinese for the burbs. Outside of china town this is pretty good chinese. The great chow frided rice is good, the general gau's is very good. Shrimp dishes tend to be light on the shrimp. Not inexpensive (compared to china town), but not expensive either. Specials are good as well.
