I regret using their services

I rarely write reviews, but this time I had to take some time to report subpar and unacceptable service. I brought my watch in for a very simple battery change. So I wait there for the battery to be changed by the jeweler, and once my watch is returned to me, I notice 2 huge chips on the glass on the face of my watch which weren't there when I initially handed my watch over to him. I immediately bring these 2 big chips to the attention of the jeweler, who then makes a guilty/smiling face, and retorts that my watch has other scratches. I make him re-focus on the 2 chips and ask him to polish them off, and he refuses saying it can't be polished off and nothing can be done. Nice way to treat a customer, isn't it? Also, whenever I talk about this store, people tell me they never go there, since the quality of service isn't good. I wish I knew that before I went in there. Save yourself the trouble, go elsewhere.

great local jewler!

As a younger shopper I am usually treated, not as a valued costumer, but a child looking through her mothers things. At Stephen Leigh, however, I was treated with respect and true friendliness. As long as I live within distance Stephen Leigh is my jeweler.

- Cons: smaller selection
