Good sports & music bar!. Varsity Club has turned into a pretty damn good Quincy bar. I lived in Quincy about 10 years ago, and at the time, it was nothing but a townie, kind of tough crowd with no real atmosphere. Now, they've done a great job, setting up the flat screens everywhere, friendly staff, decent food, and now with good live music on the weekends, both bands & DJ's. Definitely a place worth re-visiting if you haven't been in a while.

Great appetizers & cheap beer!!!!!. Went to Varsity Club on 7/12/08 around 9pm. It was dead. Only another 3 or 4 people were in there with us. The boneless buffalo wings, chicken fingers and waffle fries were cooked perfectly. The beer was priced extremely low! A great deal. If your looking for a quiet place to grab a few drinks with friends, this is a nice place to come. Looking for a party...not recomended!

Disrespectful and Insulting Experience. I was at the Varsity Club Friday May 2nd, to see live entertainment and there was terrible management (seemed like no one in charge) and the police officer there was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful to patrons. This is the last place I would go to watch another band play - the wait staff is polite but whoever is in charge of security of police there is leaving patrons to deal with insults and disrespect. I will not be going there again.
