Consistently Strong Mexican Food. I've consistently enjoyed my meal here from the Fajitis to the Burritos and Tacos also. We love the Salsa and Margaritas. That being said- sometimes we get our food within 5 minutes and I'm wondering if they're trying to get rid of us! They're super fast
Great booze!. I had some fish tacos here and they were dripping with either grease or too much dressing. I did get a few raspberry mojitos in me by then, so I didn't really care so much. It was fairly dead, but as soon as the celtics came in, there were another 2 people that came in. If a place is going to have TVs running and pretend to be a sports bar, I'd think there would be more fans making the trek through Quincy to get there.. I had some queso there once as an app and it was okay but greasy as well.
Pitiful excuse for Mexican. Maybe this place is good if you have had a few margaritas before eating, but the food was awful. Heavy, bland and only a few veggie options. I ordered some sort of burrito filled with rice, beans and onions. Dry tortilla, no sauce to hold it together. Just a tastless mess of a dish. A mexican restaurant with no bean options! Unless you are a drunk carnivore, stay away.

In Short
From savory mousaka to beefy lasagna, X&O's menu pulls all the favorite dishes from various Mediterranean cuisine types. Stylish light fixtures and a modern color scheme lend a trendy vibe to the dining and bar areas. Lunch sees a local crowd come in to sample from a lengthy, affordable menu of soups, salads, panini sandwiches and wraps.
Poor service. Stopped in with a friend for an early dinner on a Saturday night ~ 2 mos ago. The food was average - nothing special. Brick oven pizzas, cream of asparagus soup, hummus with pasta chips, tomato/basil/mozz salads. Everything was just "ok". The service, however, was awful. Our waiter was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed that we stopped in, I suppose because it meant he had to work! Not a good experience as a result of the service. Will not be going back.
Wanted to love it here..... Was disappointed - the decor was great, the portions were good sized but the food was not what was expected. Granted, this was after one meal - I had a Greek dish (lamb shank) which was good, my husband had chix parm, which was not the typical chix parm. The Chicken was separate from pasta and marinara which made it somewhat dry. My husband said it was the worst marinara he ever had. The wine list was good and house wine was surprisingly good (should be for $5.5/glass). The measured wine dispensers were a turn-off (is this an airport???)! Despite the nice ambience and pleasant waitsatff we will probably not return (maybe to try the pizza?).
Just Fine. I enjoyed my meal. Everything was prompt, clean and delicious.
Oops! close but not quite. Seems like a great place, nice decor, interesting menu, you are welcomed. Then it goes downhill. First food, It is passable, but bland. It seems to be lacking that little bit of flavor that makes an appetizer, entree or dessert taste the way you expect it to at these prices. The only positive is the winelist. a little overpriced, but great selection. Next service, ours was pretty bad. Friendly server, but then she was gone for a long time between serving, dessert, the check and then picking up the check. Lastly, the computer that prints your bill has different prices then the menu. All in all, not the experience we expected. We even had a quiet table with no TVs in sight, but it didn't make up for the lackluster food or poor service.
Good stuff reasonable priced. Good grub, nice beverage selection but it's a bit weird to have tvs throughout the dining area. I wish these were just in the bar.
Nice casual dining. Great place for locals to have above average food without breaking the bank or wandering too far from home. HAving tvs througout the dining room makes it seem more like a pub than it should, but the food is good.
