Do not trust. After reading the other review I have to agree wholeheartedly. I feel sorry for anyone who uses this lawyer who isn't a white, straight female. This woman has referred to people including her clients as vile racist slurs. She has used every derogatory slur when referring to one of her clients who was openly gay. When I told her how insensitive this was she couldn't care less. Horrible human being who has no right representing people she is disgusted by.

I can't warn you enough to stay away. I had the unfortunate luck of retaining Ms. Marino. I talked to her about filing for custody of my 12 year old. When I went in Ms. Marino seemed warm and compassionate. I put her on retainer and it didn't take long for me to regret this decision. While going in for the fifth visit I no longer felt the warmth from her. Instead felt like this woman wasn't connected to the case. She became degrading when talking about people, using slurs. When my fiance asked her to please refrain from using derogatory terms for special needs children when referring to people Ms. Marino floored us by point blank telling us we're free to get another attorney. Then without pause went on talking again. Our case wasn't going well anyway and after talking it over we decided to seek representation elsewhere. Which happy to say our new attorney handled the case professionally and we were satisfied with the results. I have heard nothing but negative words about Ms Marino's ability since and I can see why. I can only imagine the positive reviews were written by Ms. Marino herself as this woman shows no respect for her clients or sadly to say herself for that matter. I could not recommend her, will not and for the sake of anyone do not waste your time and money on her services.

Highly Recommend.
I could not recommend the Law Office of Cathy A. Marino more highly.
She handled a custody matter that I had tried to handle on my own, (huge mistake). I had made a terrible mess of things, and Cathy got things back on track.
I was most impressed with the wonderful way she interacted with all of the court personel. They seemed not only to know her very well, but have the utmost respect for her. From the judge down to the court officers.
I highly recommend Cathy, and have done so many times

Great Lawyer, Great Staff.
My wife and I were going on an exptended trip overseas and needed will, powers of attorney and other documents drafted to ease our minds while our children were cared for my my parents.
We met with Attorney Marino in the morning on our way to the airport. She had her staff prepare the documents while we waited and we signed right then and there.
I've never had anyone do anything so quickly and so reasonably with so little notice.

Helpul and Accommodating.
My divorce wasn't very complicated, and Attorney Marino handled things quicky and without breaking the bank.
I appreciated her kindness and willingness to meet with me after hours since I work everyday.

Excellent Lawyer.
Atty Marino has handled several matters for myself and my family. She did a real estate transaction for us, and then some estate planning.
I have recommended her to many friends and family members and they have all been satisfied. Her fees are very reasonable and her staff is top notch.

Professional and caring.
Attorney Marino represented me in a very difficult divorce. She and her staff were professional, very knowledgeable and helpful.
She made a very difficult time in my life much easier. I can't imagine going through the court system without her help.
