Good Job, sexy plumber

I had those guys come over last week for a kind of big job in my place, having a large apartment in Manhattan I m used to the fact that everything cost a lot when I call for any kind of service. I thought their price was reasonable specially after seeing how much it took to fix the problem, not sure they realized that at the beginning. Joe the owner came over for consultation, no charge for it, I was pleasantly surprised knowing my past experiences of price abuses by other people. He was very friendly and have to say one of the sexiest plumbers I've ever seen. He then sent one of his guys to do the job (bummer). Robert, a very responsible, efficient and friendly Polish guy, who worked extra hours to finish it on time. I will certainly recommend them and use them again.

do not walk away, RUN!

I tried to not give any stars but this system makes you give at least one, but I give them

Negative -10 stars(aka this company sucks)

These people charged my 93 year old aunt $1,700 for a hot water heater. A $500 job at best.

And they put her off all day and showed up at 11:00 at night.

Do not beleive the phony reviews he is posting for himself. Especially the one about using them for the past 4-5 years. When they are a 2 year old company.

Can you believe they treat the elderly this bad!

Hub plumbing

I had Hub Plumbing & Mechanical come out last Saturday to deal with the heat being off on my mom’s place. She is elderly and the house was freezing. Within two hours, John was there, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Turns out it was an electrical problem on one of the controls caused by a leak. He was able to fix both issues quickly, and politely. He even wore boot covers over his shoes so as not to track a hundred pounds of snow in.

Would definitely use him again.

In response to the other review, we were the only response that he got. We did not coerce him to hire us, and he seemed happy at the time of service. I wonder why he waited until we left to publish a review on Citysearch to the contrary?

$376/hr for Labor - Avoid!

I run 17 properties in Boston and am disgusted with Hub Plumbing. All of my go-to plumbers were out of town for Columbus Day weekend and I had to find a replacement for a water leak. I had a plumber come out from Hub Plumbing and was quoted $376 for one hour of labor to repair a copper pipe. Instead of giving you an hourly rate or a minimum job price over the phone, Hub Plumbing waits until they get to your property to give you a quote and hopes you pay it since they are already there! I would strong urge you to avoid them at all costs -- I have never worked with a firm as overpriced and unprofessional as Hub Plumbing.
