SERVICES WERE BELOW AVERAGE

went to Tip Top Nails with my mom two days before I went on my vacation. I asked for a pedicure, a full set of acrlyic nails and an eyebrow wax. Although my mom and I were not able to start our pedicures together, her technician quickly caught up to mine and gyped her a foot scrub and peel. My pedicurist was very unfriendly; instead of having me sit back and enjoy my spa day, she was very had me lift my own feet out of the tub instead of doing it for me. Now, I know that sounds selfish, but I'm in the health and spa field and you're not supposed to have your clients do anything. Despite the unfriendlyness, she did a good job and the polish still looks good 2 weeks in. During my pedicure, a male manicurist who was very friendly and talkative--a little too talkative--applyed my acrlyics without giving me any sort of manicure, which is included in the services. When I asked why I was not going to be given a manicure as well he said that they were closing at 8 (we were there at 6). I told him that I would not pay for the full service. He put two of my nails on lopsidedly and cut one of them unevenly. I made him fix the messed up ones as he rolled his eyes. His boss, the owner even told him to stop talking and get the job done! He was paying more attention to other clients more than me. Oh, and I should mention that during my "manicure" all the employees stopped what they were doing because some guy was selling fish out of the back of his truck for a discount and he "doesn't come around that often". After my "manicure", the owner (who was the only one that made the experience somewhat enjoyable) gave me a really great eyebrow wax. On my vacation my boyfriend and I didn't do too much except go to the beach and the pool and the paint job on my nails was chipping. Getting them taken off was great if not for the taking my fakes off with a fake nail instead of using acrlyic removal. It hurt and I still had to pay for it because none of the girls spoke English that day.
- Pros: The owner is friendly, I would only recommend her
- Cons: Unfriendly staff for the most part, sub par services, I felt very rushed
