The Scene
Although CRFC gets a little cramped during lunch and evening rush hour, it's manageable; clients keep their distance and respect your space.
The Workout
There's a wide corridor of Olympic free weights and Nautilus Circuit equipment. The Icarian Cable Circuit also adds variety to weight-training regimens. The cardiovascular room is jam-packed with treadmills, Stairmasters, Tetrix Stairclimbers, NordicTracks and Lifecycles. If the steppers are busy, hop on something else. Need to work out sore muscles and stress? Try massage therapy. Three racquetball courts, four squash courts and a full basketball court bring the game element to the club. The bulletin board is packed with programs and more than three dozen classes each week, including kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, step and Spin. Personal trainers are available at additional cost for both club members and nonmembers. Other amenities include a sauna, steam room, whirlpool and complimentary towel service.

For the money, their equipment and amenities are very outdated. The locker rooms are crammed into the basement of an old brick building with no windows so the ventilation is very poor and it tends to stink. The locker rooms are seldom clean to my standards. With regards to the workout facilities: if you want to work out after work or at lunch, you will likely have to wait in line for equipment, much of which i find in disrepair. There are several racquet courts but again, you need to book these in advance for peak hours. The staff seems generally disinterested. For the amount of money that you spend here, there are many other options in the city that have a newer, cleaner and friendlier atmosphere. If you want something equivalent, i would suggest the YMCA in Central square for about half the price.
Pros: location
Cons: Price, Hygine, parking, Smell

Its 89 degrees out and the club has heat...the promised AC has yet to come...if looking for a new gym..ask about their plans for AC before joining..otherwise wait until winter. I go there..but only because I have been too lazy to move to another gym..and the upside is ..I have made some good friends there.
Cons: No AC, Locker room
