I REALLY HAVE TO LAUGH AT SOME OF THESE REVIEWS ABOUT PHILS TOW!!SOUR GRAPES,THE CAMBRIDGE POLICE AUTHORIZE 95% OF THE TOWS!!SO STOP CRYING,READ THE SIGNS,AND YOU MIGHT NOT GET TOWED AND WHINE ABOUT IT.OR BETTER YET,I HOPE ONE OF THE OTHER 2 COMPANIES HOOKS YOU UP,THEN YOU'LL SEE WHAT REAL MISERY IS!!GOOD LUCK,MY FRIENDS.-A.GREEN

The Ninth Circle of Hell is Reserved for Phil's Towing.
I have lived in the same building for a year now and have parked at said building, without incident, for that long. For the past several weeks, I've seen the tow guy from Phil's Towing lurking around my car like a vulture.
Last night, I forgot to change my parking pass before midnight (they expire after a week) and went down at 12:30 a.m. to do so. My car had already been hooked up to the tow truck, and I tearfully explained that I simply did not have the $80 cash to have the vehicle lowered. The tow guy was not the least bit flexible and gave me a hard time while I called upon friends in the area to help me come up with the $80. He even went so far as to threaten police intervention if I did not allow him to drive away with my car! My experience with Phil's Towing was utterly nightmarish, and I was treated like a common criminal for attempting to change my pass 30 minutes late. Ultimately, I paid the $80, which, I suspect, was pocketed by the tow guy, and found a new location to park my vehicle. Avoid Phil's Towing like the plague.

Nobody likes the dentist and nobody likes to get towed.
I was recently towed by Phil's Towing in Cambridge
because my car wouldn't start and had a great experience. When I called the phone rep was patient and informed. The help was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. I also noticed that they give back to the community by sponsoring little league baseball teams. There are good lawyers and bad lawyers and there a good tow companies and bad tow companies. Phil's Towing is one of the good ones.

Phil's Towing. As written on Yelp. One of many positive reviews. As much as it sucked having my truck towed, these guys were helpful, very polite, and treated me with respect through out the entire process. If I had to select a company to deal with after being towed, Phil's Towing would be it.

They like to rip license plates off of cars. Phil's towing in Cambridge ripped the license plate off of my son's car which was registered to me because it was parked illegally. Called and spoke with Phil Bard the owner and he obviously doesn't care that one of his own tow guys damaged someones property so now I am filling out a consumer Protection Complaint. I also emailed him suggesting that he fire or give the tow guy a warning. Sure he'll do neither. Once they are tied to the City police they think they are above God.
