Edwin is the reason to shop here (fish).
Edwin knows his fish. I got my tank here (oceanic bow front), and 5 years later he remembered selling that tank to us! He knows what to feed them, he knows the precise fish-dependent temperature
to raise your tank to help ich, he knows which fish will get sick, he knows pretty much anything you need to know. He'll have good recommendations on brands of accessories to buy and foods to buy.
Edwin is pretty much the reason I come to this store over all other fish stores.
Only thing I don't like about this store is that I wish they still sold Kordon rid-ich or Seachem's paraguard or other malachite green. Melafix and Pimafix are great, but I'm not convinced of Kordon's ich-attack. I trust the tried and true meds.…

Petco, its where the pets (and pet lovers) go. When I go to this petco two associates there mainly help me. They are Edwing and Corey. I go here for my reptiles. They give me a lot of information on the snakes or lizards that I want to buy. whenever I come to this store and they are there they answer all my questions to the best of their ability which is all I ask. Because of Corey and Edwin, I have 5 beautiful healthy snakes. four of these snakes are called CornSnakes and the other one is a Ball python. I also went to that pet store near the highway. to say the least it needs a lot of improvement before I think to buy anything out of there. The majority of the snakes in that store you can't even see because they have no lighting in their tanks what so ever. and the water they bask in and drink out of is very dirty. Petco, is always going to be the right choice when deciding on what kind of of pet you want. That other pet store should only be used as a last resort if petco doesn't have what you want. However, since petco is where the pets go you will never leave there unsatisfied.…
Clean tanks, decent selection, helpful staff.. I came here after being disgusted by the "Boston Tropical Fish and Reptile" store. This Petco is great, but be warned: the odor when you first walk in is a bit overwhelming. I mean, it smells like a pet store, thats all. The fish section was suprisingly clean, and they had a pretty good selection of fish. The tanks are divided into three sections: community, unique etc, and marine. This certainly makes things a bit easier for the average aquarium hobbyist versus the common chaos of fish/tank placement in many other stores. I've really only dealt with one employee there, and his name is Edwin. The guy knows his stuff. He answered all of my questions, and helped me find the right products to get my tank back up and running. The cashier told me he's got a pretty impressive collection of tanks and other animals at home so I get the impression he's pretty into pets. I guess the only downside of this place is that the "unique" fish they had theyre really weren't too unique, and some really cool fish that I find common in independent NJ (where I'm from) stores were missing from this store. Edwin mentioned the names of some other stores in MA that have some sick fish selections though (which I forget), so you might as well pop in and ask.…
