Braces Consultation Gone Wrong!. I scheduled a consultation for braces and I made sure to clarify with the receptionist my reason for scheduling the appointment. I came in a little late because the Red Line is always late. The staff wasn't very welcoming, the doctor was walking around like he hasn't had his cup of joe yet (aka cranky). I gave them my name and the receptionist turned around telling the doctor "Oh, your new patient is finally here". I thought that was a little inappropriate but let it slide because I was in fact late. I waited for 20 minutes and they walked me back to the room. The place was okay but could use a cleaning or a quick renovation. It wasn't very appealing for a dentistry. I sat down and the dental hygienist started to take my x-rays. I thought that was weird and asked her if I really needed x-rays for a consultantion. She exclaimed "Oh, it's only a consultantion?" and starting putting stuff away. She walked out and spoke to the doctor outside of the room (which is just a cube so you can definitely hear everything they are saying). He came in, looked at my teeth for 2 minutes, and told me I needed to make an appointment with another doctor who actually is the Ortho, but she's only there every other Friday. So what was the point of this appointment?!!!! It was a waste of my time (I had to forgo my lunch for this) and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
