Somwhere between a Moulin Rouge boudoir and a flapper's wardrobe.. The Scene
Don't get confused, there are in fact two small stores (instead of one big one). The second floor outpost located at 1776 Mass Ave is jam packed and has more atmosphere. The Susanna at 1766 has more head-room and might be more comfortable for claustrophobics. The staff is incredibly helpful.

The Goods
With drapey tops, amazing hats, snuggly scarves and retro jewelry, the style is detail-oriented comfortable elegance. Drawing on Art Deco and Oriental influences in modern-day fabrics (with a good dose of velvet, silk and cotton), the clothing is flattering for most body types. There is a fun and sexy selection of lingerie and hosiery to complete an outfit from underneath. This is the kind of place where everything begs to be touched because the textures are just wonderful.
