Suprising line-up infests Irish Pub. The list of DJ's who've performed at this cramped pub in Central Square in the last two years is more impressive than all the talent that Lansdowne street has brought in, since its inception. That said, there is a clique here, and it consists of burned-out ravers, and 20 somethings who have yet to move on to greener pastures. None the less, when you can see Derrick Carter perform for you and 100 other drunk, sweat-drenched people, see if you can complain.

Over-rated?. I have to say that this place is slightly over-rated. I expected something like The Kells in Allston, but this place is tiny. Way over-crowded, and the bouncer was useless. My friends and I were getting harassed while waiting in line by an old drunk, and the bouncer didn't do much of anything. He'd chat with people, rather than doing his job.

Oh baby, I've found where I belong!. the Phoenix rocks! Every night has different yet excellent music, and the crowd is fun and easygoing. No attitudes here! The bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and pleasant, and they make great drinks. Even the food is good, I recommend trying out 1/2 price apps for happy hour. And, the bonus is that they are now open until 2AM!
