Refresh in all forms: caffeine, food, minimalism, free WiFi. Atomic Bean is your go-to stop for a caffeine fix in the limbo zone between Harvard and Central Squares. The former locale of Mojo Records has been transformed into a no-frills java joint where Cambridgeans can grab a cuppa joe or Mighty Leaf tea. There's also a small selection of pastries and snacks like a cheese and cracker plate, baked brie or hummus with veggies if you're sticking around. Rotating exhibits of local art and photography adorn the exposed brick back wall. Atomic Bean prides itself on enviro-friendliness, using local beans in their coffee and serving drinks in corn-based cups. Atomic Bean's otherwise sparse interior isn't exactly cozy, but the atmosphere is helped by mellow music leaking from the speakers.
