Great cuts (and color), friendly professional. Leonard Stephen is a place where folks are friendly, down to earth and very professional. You feel great and get an extremely good cut (and color). Then can do stylish and they have a lot of customers (like me) who want consistent great cuts and an easy relaxing scene. I mostly have Lenny cut my hair.

Harvard Square location can be fun to meet up with friends for a drink after a great cut (or a pain -now that I have to find parking).

Great cuts, very professional!. I always go to Leonard Stevens to have Lenny cut my hair. I just moved to New York and I still go there when I'm visiting as I don't want anyone else to style my hair! He's great - very skilled, friendly and not pushy (not trying to convince me to have pricey highlights like other salons have done, for example). The staff is friendly and I am always ushered right in on time. He has consistently given me great haircuts and listens well. Highly recommended.

Pretty good.... I've had my hair cut with Fay three times now. She's very nice, and the salon has a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The haircuts have been... good but not amazing. Once, I had to go back the next day because she'd missed a chunk behind the ear. I think she's more comfortable with giving you a style that you show her in a photo as opposed to suggesting something for you. However, one big plus is that her cuts grow out really well-- they seem to end better than they start even! I kept going back for this reason, for the very convenient Harvard Square location, and the reasonable price. I may try another place, but this is a pretty decent fallback. Honestly, if you know exactly what you want and can communicate it clearly, Fay would probably be fine. I think my problem was just that I didn't know what I was looking for.

Great cuts and a great value. I used to get my haircut at a salon across the street, but went back to Leonard Stephen after a particularly expensive service. Leonard Stephen is an incredibly professional and friendly salon with great stylists. I wholeheartedly recommend David and Fay and also the salon owners Leonard and Stephen (great colorists). It's reasonably priced and appointments are easy to make. I miss them now that I have moved to LA!!!
