Fantastic Food, Impeccable Service. After reading the reviews, I was already expecting great food and service. However, the food, ambiance, and service exceeded my expectations! My friends and I went for restaurant week, but we ordered on top of the prix fixe menu. If you enjoy duck, the crispy duck is fantastic! What I enjoyed most about the food was that every bit of food on the entree had flavor! The salad on the side was not just for "garnish" or "decoration" but for EATING! My glass of water did no go empty!
Wonderful. Both the food and the service at Rialto were exceptional. The waiter and the hosts were extremely attentive, and the food was delicious. I would recommend the fish soup, as well as the special I had--sole stuffed with crab meat, in a lobster sauce. The desserts were delicious as well.
Was not disappointed!. Had heard rave reviews for years, decided to stay at the Charles Hotel, checking out Rialto the first night. Nice bar, nice restaurant and WONDERFUL food. Both our dishes were excellent and the service was good. Only problem was they had booked a party of 75 Icelanders in the back room that night, and we had them staring over our shoulders as they slowly proceeded in. Would have preferred a better table considering that, but it was too late to change. But will definitely return!
A Perfect Dining Experience.
Rialto is a real "dining" experience. Everything is "just so", from the decor, to the service, to the food. Our waiter knew just what to recommend, even though Saturday was the first day of their new Spring menu. The fried buffalo mozzarella ravioli with
eggplant and tapenade app was delectable (although only 3 ravioli's) and the Grilled Wellfleet Littleneck clams were presented on a little grill - really nicely. For main courses, the sirloin steak served with greens and shaved parm was AMAZING and my husband LOVED the black cod. Save room for the hot chocolate cream with bourbon ice cream and minted tropical fruits - which is really an insane molten chocolate cake like you've never had. A pricey restaurant, wel worth the money.
The best dinner we have ever had!!. My husband and I made our second visit to Rialto! UNBELIEVABLE! Better than it was two years ago. He had TUNA and I had CHICKEN (under a brick was the name) Everything from the leek appetizer I had to the black olive pasta with shrimp ap that he had was truly the best we have ever had. We frequently explore fine restaurants in Boston and all we could do was look at each other and say MMMMM...MMMM the entire time! Be prepared to drop some change....but if you love fine food you will savor RIALTO and all it's flavor!!
BEST DUCK IN THE WORLD Quack. I am rating Rialto based on one entree, the Long Island Duck. This is the best duck I have ever had anywhere ..in any French restaurant...this is a superior duckie quack quack...the meat is so tender it is like butter and it is perfectly blackened a little on the skin...so crisp. It is not served rare which is good becuase Duck Suck when served that way or at least I do not prefer it served that way. Just order Duck becuase I have heard other people say the other ones are good but not as yumbie as the duck is..it's killer every time.
Heavenly Duck!. Mmmmmm...mmmmm....mmmmm....the duck at Rialto must have been prepared in heaven. It was full of flavor!! The wine and champagne list is amazing. The service from the host to the busser was fantastic. I recommend this place to anyone trying to impress their out of town guest or high end date!
YUM! YUM!. I had a wonderful time at Rialto! The duck was fantastic and the service was great. Although the hostess seemed to be a bit clueless, our waiter was quite charming and very efficient.
