Worst Customer Service!!!. I ordered chicken fried rice, hot & sour soup and vegetable roll. Since, I had a sore throat, I asked the Chinese waitress to give me warm water. She said that they don't have warm water. How long does it take to heat a glass of water in a microwave? This should have been my cue to get out of the restaurant. But, I guess, I was too hungry and tired. Then, she served me with a hot & Sour soup that smelled like feces. It was a brown mess of thick yuck. This happens when the egg, chicken and tofu goes bad, especially, if it is several days old. The smell was so bad that I didn't even touch it and asked the waitress to substitute it for the veg. roll. She made a face and said "NO" substitutions. If you can't provide good food, why put it in the menu? Are they giving away free food! Am I not paying for this? If you are going to say "NO", at least say it with a smile and be apologetic about bad food. If you are going to show your life frustrations on the paying customer, then get the heck out of food service. You are not fit to feed humans. FINAL WORD: If you are a person who like to be mistreated, like to throw away money, and eat bad food, then, Yen Ching is your restaurant.

pretty good. It's a bit Americanized, but the food is still good. If you speak Chinese, ask for their specials, as they're not necessarily on the menu. Their fish is excellent. The individual rice bowls are annoying for people used to family style eating.

Tourist Trap. I have no idea how this place stays open. Anyone that I have talked to who has eaten there thought it was (and I'll be kind here) "not good." Because of its prime location it gets a constant supply of tourists who don't know any better but likely not very many repeat customers.

Yenching. This restaurant has been there with the same owner since 1974. They must be doing something right. Good food, clean place, great staff, not expensive...and great valu -- servings are better than average for meat/fish dishes.
