Not somewhere I'd come back to or tell a friend about. I saw a little critter go under the table next to me. Luckily there weren't many people around because I'm sure they would have flipped out. My california rolls seemed stale too. Just not my kind of place. Very sketchy!
Real deal sushi restuarant.
I am a sushi snob. If my table orders tuna and california rolls, I'm upset. But I have only good things to say about this place. Well, the lighting is really lousy. And maybe they're nice to me because I've been so often (but I had to start going for a reason...). But the Mackerel is the best I've ever had, they don't try to push out of season fish on you, it's not fancy, and if you talk to the sushi chef, he'll push you to try some new stuff that may not be on the menu. Bring your friends, ask the chef what's good, and have fun.
