“For example, a small splash of sour cream costs $.50 and guacomole, of course, is more expensive.”
“They make everything fresh there, so you can expect them to not have items when there is a national health concern on those items.”
“They have great options for vegetarians also!”
“If your short on time or money, or you just want a good quick meal, this is one place you really need to try.”
“Very fast and friendly service.”

“It's expensive and wait is slightly long but the food is out of this world (including the fresh guacamole they make at your table).”
Great food fast!.
Okay first, if anyone reads the review about them not having salsa you need to remeber that during that time that review was written tomatoes we re-called and nobody had them. They make everything fresh there, so you can expect them to not have items when there is a national health concern on those items.
Now for the food. It's great, not amazing, but better then good most of the time. I have been going there every so often for about 10 years. I have had few bad experinces. They are far better then that national chain Qdoba, and have a bigger selection.
The prices are great for the portions they serve. You can get stuffed for under 10 bucks and have left-overs. If your short on time or money, or you just want a good quick meal, this is one place you really need to try.
Cheap, Tasteless Food where they charge for everything.
I love mexican food and when someone told me this place his highly recommended, I thought I would give it a try. This might sound like a litany of complaints but here it is:
- they didn't have any salsa! Which Mexican restaurant doesn't have salsa in the middle of the day? I went there during lunch time.
- they will charge you for everything. For example, a small splash of sour cream costs $.50 and guacomole, of course, is more expensive. Now, I know most places will charge for guacomole but charging for sour cream is news to me.
- the food was absolutely bland!! Mexican food, to me, means different herbs (like Cilantro etc), spices and tasty food. However, this food had no taste, no salt, nothing. I mean, Taco Bell tastes more Mexican than this horrendous farce.
Really, I have never been so down on any place but this place was horrible. If you want real Mexican food, try Ole Mexicana in Cambridge. It's expensive and wait is slightly long but the food is out of this world (including the fresh guacamole they make at your table).
Great Mexican Food. I have tried Tamales and Burritos here - very good - not too heavy and everything tastes fresh! They have great options for vegetarians also!
Popular local chain specializes in fresh, affordable Mexican food..
The Scene
Hundreds of area office workers and residents call this bright, happy restaurant their second home. During the lunch and dinner hours, tables can be hard to come by, so many patrons take their tacos and quesadillas to go. Speedy counter service ensures that diners get what they want--and fast.
The Food
The kitchen's "time-honored recipes" yield authentic, smoky tamales and hefty burritos filled with tender marinated chicken and steak. Every item on the menu is made daily using fresh ingredients, making Boca Grande a huge step above Taco Bell. An order of enchiladas--fresh corn tortillas filled with cheese and a choice of grilled chicken, pork, steak or vegetables plus refried beans and rice--is truly a meal in itself. Best of all, everything on the menu costs less than $4, including a huge basket of crunchy tortilla chips with freshly mashed guacamole.
good cheap eat on the go. once I have been to this place to try chicken burrito as I was on the go. Just like regular, still good. Though I liked freshly made orange juice over here which I used to drink so much when I was in europe during lunch time's.
Good Food & Low Price. By far the best burritos in Boston. Very fast and friendly service. The tastiest steak burrito, with the right amount of meat to rice ratio. The hot sauce is wicked spicy! They will make it anyway you like it. The only negative - the charge extra for guacomole and sour cream. But under what can you buy for 5 bucks and feel full?
TACOS!!!. This place simply has the best taco's ever tasted. They are inexpensive and quickly made by their masterful chefs. The restaurant is not pretty but the food is exceptional. I would eat here again and again. It sure beats Taco Bell.
¡¡Muy delicioso!!. Good, very reasonably priced food; simple, non-fancy environment and lively.
Live to Eat. I was so amazed at the quality of food for so little money.
Best Going... You have to try the Colorado Chicken, It's the best buritto going.
