Can't be trusted. Took a crashed drive to these folks. They recovered it nicely and charged a small fortune. OK I can live with that. But then they copied and gave the data to a complete stranger! (the stranger had to contact ME!). Sensitive files including bank accounts and SSN. Company admitted the screw up, tried to blame the other guy, then lawyered up. No apology, No trying to make it right.

Don't trust their "chain of custody" BS. Not trustworthy.

Best Data Recovery In Boston. I recently experienced a crash of a hard drive containing all of the data of my accounting system. Unfortunately, I discovered that my last clean back-up was over four months old! Techfusion saved the day. Within three days of the crash my system, and accounting server was back up and running with absolutely no data loss. During the recovery period the engineer working on the drive kept me updated on the progress of the recovery. Your service was very prompt, professional, and very reasonably priced. Techfusion will be number one on my list if I ever experience data loss again due to a drive crash. Thanks again for the great service.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I chose TechFusion based on the favorable reviews on this site. Unfortunately, my experience could not have been more different. Seems like this outfit is reverting to bad form circa 2007. I was a corporate customer and hindsight tells me that I was an automatic target. My employer's policy required signing of a confidentiality agreement. I made a 10:30am appointment with the owner to sign the document. STRIKE #1: he was a no-show. The papers were eventually signed and I dropped off the hard-drive. I called up after one week to check status and was told that my drive was in bad shape and it clicked incessantly. I knew it was not like that when I dropped it off. So I showed up unannounced at the shop and asked to see my drive. They brought one out, plugged it in and sure enough, it was clicking bad. The only problem was, it was NOT my drive, STRIKE #2. The next day, they phoned and said there was very little chance of recovering any data from the drive. I waited a few days and decided to retrieve the drive and take it somewhere else. As soon as I walked in the door, they did an about-face and said they had good news that most of the data could be recovered. The bad news was the price just quadrupled, STRIKE #3. A few days later, they called up and said they had burned the complete listing of the recovered files to a CD ready for me to pick up. I picked up the CD after work and tried to read it as soon as I got home. It turned out to be BLANK, STRIKE #4. I cannot help but wonder to whom they actually gave my file list to. I talked to the owner and he promised to deliver the recovered data to me as a way of making it up to me. Well, you guessed it, STRIKE #5: NO delivery, I ended up making one last trip to pick up the data.

In my case, lightning struck not once, but multiple times. I seriously question TechFusion's honesty, ethics and competence. It is definitely not a shop I will do business with again.

Life Savers, and I dont mean the candy!!. Techfusion did an oustanding job recovering my family's home PC when it crashed from a surge/blackout we had. The turnaround time and price were very fair in comparison to all the other data recovery companies I contacted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They kept me up to date during the entire process, therefore I was at ease and ensured that they meant business and that my data would be recovered. All in all I would highly recommend Techfusion's professional data recovery service.
