Best women's clothing Cambridge has to offer!.
Think of Linens and silks, the lightest of wools and cottons!
Whether it is Via Vai at 63 JFK Street which specializes in delicious fabrics and stylish garments in a range of price points--and includes Eileen Fisher--or her hip youthful shop on Mass Ave It is all about originality, elegance and ease.
(I do not remember the nameof Store #2 but it is in the Baldwin School neighborhood shopping area of Boca Grande and Abodeon on the Linnaean Street side and has a cool, open look.), You might recognize clothes from these two stunning stores on other women, but each in her own way: you do not see yourself coming and going.
The owner is stylish and savvy herself and she not only knows what is out there, but she remembers what works for you and what you like--the fabrics, colors and styles She discreetly contributes to a highly satisfying transaction, and you end up with something that is lovely and makes you feel good to wear for years on end! (And she even has some select shoes and bags in each store. Yum!) Everyone deserves at least a couple of pieces from Via Vai and her sister store. Beautiful, and a pleasure to wear for a long time.
A little bit of Europe in Harvard Square..
In Short
Tucked away on the outskirts of Harvard Square, this cozy boutique offers discerning buyers a personalized shopping experience. With its dark decor and flattering lighting, the shop almost looks like your own fantasy walk-in closet. The European fashion from which the store draws its name reflects the gorgeous embroidered work of Italian designer Cinzia Rocca. Also notable is the presence of local suit manufacturer Ann Freedberg, who recently established a line of women's suits.
