you won't be disappointed. Don't let one person's bad day prevent you from visiting this wonderful shop. This place meets any cheese fanatic's standards and fulfills their desires. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and there's more than just cheese here. Much, much more.

This gourmet shop first garnered national acclaim in the 1980s by carrying hard-to-find imported cheeses, and has since branched out to offer other rare and foreign foodstuffs. Area gourmands, including several of the city's most notable chefs, use Formaggio as a grocery store, stopping in weekly for pricey handmade chocolates, rare Italian cold cuts and aromatic cheeses. A wide selection of oils, teas, and culinary instruments make it a gift spot as well.

Disappointed. decided to send my parents an alterative to Valentine's Day flowers. I chose Formaggio Kitchen to send them a gift basket they could enjoy for lunch. Well I ordered two days in advance and agreed to pay $20 extra for a special courier. Well the order never arrived. When I called to question the problem I was told my order was lost and the only time I could have the basket delivered was 3pm. Way too late for lunch. If you go in the store is nice but dont use the company to send anything anywhere!
