Great Detour for Soup and Sandwiches.
I love how cozy this place is and the food always tastes like really good home-made. A few of my favourites are the banana bread, the BAT (Bacon, Arugula, and Tomato) Sandwich. They cut their bread lengthwise along the loaf so their sammies are huge!
Their soup tastes like they just pulled off one of the cookbooks on the shelf: Moosewood, Vegetarian Epicure, and the like, and made it their own.
There are plenty of freshly made prepared foods to bring home for dinner.
So yes, it is a little off the beaten path, but worth the detour.

Cute sandwich place for Cambridge/Somerville locals.. If you're looking for a place to grab a sandwich and a cup of coffee, check out Oxford Spa. The interior of this lil' shop has a lot of charm. Great place to go for breakfast and lunch!
