The salon in Harvard Square for unfussy cuts, color and care.
Perched on an upper level overlooking a Harvard Square hub, Plan B’s floor-to-ceiling, panoramic windows offers sweeping views of the intersection’s streetlife. As salon diversion, closeup people-watching beats reading a magazine anytime. The hairstyling takes residence in a crisp, all-white decor, which imparts a mod appeal and adds a spacious feel to the otherwise cozy room. Owner Rick Fogarty gears the salon’s cut, coloring and consultation services toward a youthful demographic, with reasonable prices that allow for regular visits.

Rick Is The Best.
He is a one man shop who has been in the business for years, he knows the ins and outs of the business, is very personable and treats everyone like long lost friends. Besides being very savvy with a pair of scissors he is just a nice guy who you want to immediately add to your list of friends in Facebook. After moving here from Los Angeles he is one of the many treasures we have discovered here in Cambridge.

Best color and cut.
Rick has done my hair for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I was so excited when he told me that he would opening his own salon in this fall. He has had his own salon which I am sure contributed to the great design of his new place. I have shoulder length blonde hair and his highlights always look natural and last! The cut is always slightly different, as requested, and looks new and fresh. Just his personality makes it worth it.

Editorial Review.
This specialty "cut and color boutique" in Harvard Square rigs up the modern amenties with balayage, "shaping" (i.e. haircutting) and coloring consultations.
