I love South Shore ObGyn. I have been to both offices and have found the people in both to be intelligent, caring, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I have had three children through this practice. I may have had to wait at times for my appointment but I was never rushed out of the office, every question and concern I had was listened to and dealt with giving me the time I needed.

I would not hesitate to recommend South Shore ObGyn to anyone.

Stay away!. While I've admittedly not been to their Quincy location, the Hanover office is a nightmare. Shame on me for sticking with them throughout my pregnancy because of their proximity to the freeway! I worked throughout my pregnancy and, therefore, scheduled early morning or late afternoon appointments whenever possible. They were late to EVERY SINGLE appointment -- they sometimes kept me waiting for over an hour. Out of courtesy and consideration to my schedule, couldn't they have called to let me know I didn't need to leave work so soon, only to wait an hour and ten minutes for my exam?? Frustrating when you're taking time away from the office...

After my first child, I was having problems with my cycles and with conception a second time. For nine months, they dismissed my problems as "unexplained" and "normal". After consultation with a specialist, however, I learned that Hanover OBGYN had missed some critical steps along the way (i.e. there were tests they could have requested, but did not) and had, in fact, misread (or misinterpreted!) the results of my bloodwork! They had advised that my results were normal when, in fact, they were not at all normal for someone my age. Thank you, Hanover OBGYN, for robbing me of nine months and giving me the wrong medical advice!! To top it off, I couldn't even get them to release my medical records, upon receipt of my written request. It took several phone calls and an in-person visit to finally get MY medical records.

Seriously, stay away if you're a mommy-to-be or a mommy-want-to-be.
