The Scene – The Village's warm environs and friendly bartenders make it ideal for watching a game with friends while munching on above-average pub food. Expect a slightly older, relaxed crowd, especially during the day, when the affordable lunch menu is a favorite of nearby office workers. – – The Draw – The bar is well stocked, though most patrons opt for the company of a perfectly poured pint of Guinness (there's a good selection of other beers on tap for those adverse to the black stuff). The kitchen satisfies munchies by churning out juicy burgers and hearty…

A cozy neighborhood pub

by gcrannell at Citysearch

This is a great place to go for a relaxing (inexpensive) pint. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a lot of dark wood, booths, and a large bar in the center of the room. The staff have always been friendly and the service quick whenever I have gone there. They have a juke box which provides a wide range of music, and it is played at a volume that facilitates conversation among friends. Just an FYI, they don't serve food anymore. However, when I asked the bartender for a menu, he said that I could go across the street to the pizza place and bring my food back if I wanted. Definitely a plus if you get hungry after a couple of beers!
