Best Neighborhood Bar and Grill – I LOVE the Corrib! I can see it from my porch and I find myself in there WAY TOO OFTEN! The menu is extensive and I have enjoyed everything I've tried. The servers are johnny-on-the-spot and have no problems with giving you a side salad instead of fries, if that's what you want , and they never charge you more than a buck for the switch (if they charge you at all). The Sox are always on, the bar is always packed, and on a weekend the restaurant is full from breakfast to dinner. Sure it gets noisy sometimes, but if quiet is your thing then stay home!
Wicked Awesome! – Where is there a better place in all of Boston to get some good food and some sammy's? Nowhere but at the corrib. There food is excellent as well (Bangers and Mash -slurp and the Chowda is mighty fine. My wife was lovin' the Apple martinis, and the Espresso Martinis, those guys behind the bar there really know what they are doing. Don't miss this place!
nice neighborhood pub! – i live right up the street from the corrib pub, so i go there fairly often. though it can get crowded on the weekends, seating is not usually hard to come by. the food is good - i particularly like the wild mushroom ravioli and the grilled white pizza, while my carnivorous boyfriend usually goes for the bangers and mash - and the service is good as well. and hey, they screen the red sox games, so what's not to love?
The Worst- Ever – By far the worst dining experience I've ever had. The appetizers were frozen apps you can buy at the supermarket, the food was greasy and gross. Meat either burnt or not cooked enough. Even the beer didn't taste good. The barely palatable meal set our party of 4 back $80, and on top of that, it made 3 of us violently ill within an hour. Do not under any circumstances go here. Cheap food at high prices.
So much more than just an Irish pub! – The Corrib burger is not for the faint of heart (or those worried about their cholesterol counts)...a perfectly cooked huge burger with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, a little mayo....they are addicting and will cause cravings that must be satisfied, even when you've moved to the South Shore! The Corrib is SO much more than just Irish food (although that's outstanding and authentic)...it's simple, good food and great prices. The variety is great--from prime rib to seafood to fajitas and buffalo wings! Nothing fancy about it, it's just the perfect neighborhood place!!
