Best Pub In Boston!!!. NEW MENU in 2007! And new later kitchen hours. The bar has just been re-done including new more comfortable seating. Was already a great bar but the new renovations have only made it better! I can't wait to go have a pint!

Great Energy Diverse Always Fun!. This Bar offers so much to all age groups. If you want to be part of a "REAL" Irish Bar this is the place. Not a Factory produced tourist wanna be Irish pub. It's the Real Deal. Great atmosphere. Yes a lot of Irish Men during the summer months on vacation but they are just having a grand ol time. Weekends are packed year round with Live muisc Thursday thru Sunday with a mix of all ages and of course lots of young singles and college kids from the Brighton area. Never a cover Charge which is a rarity and beers are so affordable unlike downtown. The bands are always top notch and play great rock n roll. On the weeknights its a nice romantic and calming candle light pub to collect your thoughts and get out of the house. The staff and owners are friendly always looking to make new friends and really pull it all together for the coolest pub around. Its never a dull scene. Late night singing and dancing to bands on tables to acoustic nights with lots of great chatting to weeknights watching some of the best World Cup games and Red Sox games with friends. Don't overlook this Gem of a Bar! This is a bar where the person next to you buys you a beer just to say hello!

Brighton Center's most comfortable Irish bar offers young locals an exceptional hangout.. The Scene
Porter Belly's caters to Brighton's young residents with a quiet, relaxed place to enjoy a pint while watching the big game or sharing a plate of hand-cut fries with a friend. The bar's blonde wooden tables are as easy on the eyes as the well-poured pints of Guinness that everyone seems to be holding. With a soundtrack that's heavy on U2 and casual, friendly bartenders (good luck understanding their brogues), expect a laid-back scene at all hours of the day.

The Draw
The bar's wonderfully chilled-out atmosphere only goes so far; a proper Irish bar needs a stellar beer selection, a well-stocked bar and a satisfying menu of familiar noshes, and Porter's succeeds on all fronts. Over a dozen varieties of beer are on tap, including some hard-to-find imports (Hoegaarden), while the menu features affordable interpretations of hearty shepherd's pie, piquant chicken curry with rice and deliciously greasy fish and chips.

Always good craic!. Porter Belly's is always a great place to meet the friends for a few drinks. It's pretty busy on weeknights right around happy hour as all the local Irish boys are done with work for the day and looking for refreshments! The staff is top rate and the new TV screen above the bar is always tuned to the latest football match. The small size and cozy atmosphere make it a great place for a date too. You may even see one of the band members from the Pogues hanging around...

Excellent pub!. This is a wonderful pub to relax and have a pint or few and a smoke. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchen closes by eight, so get there early if you want to eat. Parking is also very difficult.
