I am new to Boston. About a month ago, as I needed a haircut, a friend of mine suggested to do it at Chez Bella Salon. He said that he and his girlfriend regularly go there for hair cut, waxing and other things. So, I decided to go there and had a haircut. My hair grows exceptionally fast and I need haircut about every two weeks. Anyway, I visited the Salon. I should say only one thing. They did a fantastic job. I really liked it. For the second time now, I had to go there yesterday to do my hair again. Really happy with the result. I should add that the staff is really friendly too.

Job Well Done

I'm always very nervous about getting my hair done because I had a short boys haircut growing up. I went in with an old picture of Victoria Beckham with bright gold highlights and Francisco did mine exactly the same as in the photo. Cindy did the cut and she also did a wonderful job - keeping the length and cutting off the unhealthy hair. I will definitely go back when I need a touch up and trim.

Great, affordable eyebrows

I've tried a bunch of places in the Boston area to figure out where the best place for an inexpensive eyebrow wax was. Dellaria's and Leeba's do a good job, but are so expensive; and Star's Nails around the corner is just plain awful at waxes. This place is great though - my eyebrows always look great afterwards, and at only $10 a pop too! I noticed on Yelp that they take student discounts (10% off); however, when I ask to use my student ID for a discount, they all give me kind of dirty looks. I've had it done by 2 different people - a small, smiley Asian woman who seems to be in her 30s or 40s, and a younger girl about in her 20s. Both were great and helped me to be comfortable and waxed/snipped to my requests. It's a clean place, but don't expect for the atmosphere to be high-end.

• Cons: They don't like it when I use the student discount...

Always Feel Welcome

This is one of my favorite places in Boston. The people that work there are all friendly. From the moment I walk in through the door to the moment I leave I always feel welcome. I'm there every week getting my nails done. I'm always asked about school and how things are going. After a bad I go there and come out with a smile.

Thanks Chez Bella for always making me look and fee beautiful.
