“Nice place - slow management response”
Read this before you rent from Micozzi. I just recently move out of my apartment but my experiences with them were not pleasant. When I first looked at the apartment, the agent was friendly and pleasant but after I signed the lease it went down hill. When I moved in the bathtub was stained the floor wasn't as clean. The heater made very loud banging noise in the winter, the wall were very thin. I would hear my neighbor talking every night and doing other stuff. Micozzi maintenance van also parked in the parking spot that I paid for $75/month almost once a week and every time I call to ask them to move their van they give me attitude, it also took them 20 minutes to walk downstairs and move it. I work 12 hours a day at my office and I definitely didn't pay to come home and find someone in my parking spot that I pay a fee for every month. Then when I moved out, I cleaned everything in my apartment, I scrub and bleach everything I could (I'm a clean freak). I also moved out early so that Micozzi maintenance people can come in and do some touch up in the apartment. When I finally received my security deposit I was charge $200 and $100 was for the invoice of the cleaning Micozzi did and the 8 pictures they attached to the letter they sent me. I never requested an invoice and I didn't request for the pictures. I called them to find out why I was charge and they told me the invoice was for the cleaning they had to do on the stove and bathtub. I was rarely home because I worked so much and the bathtub was stained when I first moved in. I tried bleaching it and the stain would not come off. Think twice before you rent here.
Rude and Unresponsive Management Company.
I thought Micozzi was a decent management company initially, but I was very disappointed. They only provide one set of keys per apartment and do not disclose this upfront.
The worst part was that they were very uncooperative and even rude when I called to ask them about a maintenance issue. I have rented a lot of apartments and generally know what is reasonable to expect, but I was constantly shocked by the way Micozzi treated it's tenants.
