Great Mix, but Meatheads Abound.
I would like this place if there was a better "people" atmosphere. Like the other reviewers, the meatheads and bouncers can ruin a night. What is worse is the whole "no jerseys, no hats" thing like
only people who look like Juelz Santana is going to start a fight there.
Most of the fights I have seen have been amongst the college MHs. If they want to ban the seediness, they need to make this bar upscale, cover charge guys at the door, and give some lighting for the people who want to relax and actually "see" other people.…

Great Birthday Club. Definitely a great time for any event, B-Day AGREED!! Good people, great DJ;s , beautiful lounge and dance floor. Nicely kept at cap not crazy over the top. I agree with the author of the List, a lot of fun for an event or in general.…
Avoid at all costs.
I was in the Wonder Bar recently with a group of friends. At the end of the night, we were aggressively approached to settle up our bill. Well, we already had it ready to go, credit card already
inside. The only male in the group suggested that the "security guard" take it and relax a bit. This led to a few security guards pulling the table out and grabbing him to take him outside. (He had insisted on walking out himself, but they did not allow that to happen). Seconds later, he was being choked, directly in front ot their front window. I'm not joking, he was actually foaming-at-the-mouth. The person then disappeared. (Most likely hiding inside the bar, which was now closed).
One of the following 2 situations are true. Either:
This person IS a "security guard" there, and is allowed to treat patrons violently with no consequence. - OR -
This person was another customer, and Wonder Bar "security" completely ignored the attack.
Either way, this is clearly an unsafe place of business, and there is no need to spend your money there just to be treated poorly! I am sorry that I was forced to give this place even one star - it doesn't deserve it!…
I wonder why anyone likes this place. This is another place that always has a line and doesn't deserve one. I guess it's the spot for dancing to top 40 songs with a bunch of drunk chicks and meatheads. I guess that appeals to some people.…
