The Scene
With more than 50 flat-screen plasma TVs, including several high-definition behemoths, the Depot serves as a mecca for area sports fans. Thanks to multiple satellite packages, just about every sporting event, both professional and collegiate, are shown live, much to the delight of the many alumni clubs that congregate at the bar. Those needing a break from the action can take a seat outside on the quiet patio. Friendly servers deliver pints of microbrews and colorful tropical drinks from the well-stocked bar.
The Food
Befitting a prototypical sports bar, the Depot serves up almost every appetizer under the sun, from fried oysters to creamy spinach dip. Patrons looking to stay in game shape opt for fresh salads or broiled fish dishes, while those needing a bit more sustenance stick to lineman-approved steaks and heaping piles of marinated turkey tips. Fried cheesecake and chocolate pudding cake provide one last caloric burst.

If you live in Boston but are from somewhere else, this is where you come to root for your hometown teams. There are dozens of televisions spread throughout the restauraunt and surrounding the oval bar area. The food is typical bar food, but a little higher quality. Drink prices are okay. If one of the local teams is playing, especially the Patriots, it gets uncomfortably crowded. You can also play Keno, if you're feeling lucky.

Everytime I come here it is never boring. Between all the tv's, the video games and whatever else is going on (i.e. karaoke or trivia) there is always lots of energy in the place! The service is good and the food and drink good too..... there is truly something for everyone on the menu! I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a casual, upbeat scene with plenty going on.
