Popular bagel shop satisfies student cravings in busy Allston.. In Short
Most mornings find hordes of area students and young professionals stopping in for fresh bagels. Lunchtime crowds come in for sandwiches like the "avocado dream" (mashed avocado, havarti cheese and crunchy sprouts) and "the gobble" (honey maple turkey, chunky cranberry sauce, lettuce and tomato). All bagels are homemade and baked from scratch.

Must Try. This is my favorite place in the area. I stopped there randomly one day and now I can't get enough of it. All the sandwiches are outstanding and the price is right. Great service. Fast preperation. Boar's Head meat. You can even get some day old bagels to take with you. Mmmm.

lives up to the hype. A friend was visiting from out of town so for breakfast I suggested "the best bagels, ever", she was skeptical (it is a pretty strong claim), until the first bite, then completely agreed with my assesment

Needless to say she stopped by the next day on her way out of town.

NY in Allston. I could eat here every day for a year and never be bored with their selection! However, I usually order the same thing every time (and I'm still never bored) The best bagels, cream cheese, and sandwhiches (try the spicy turkey) that I've ever had...in my search for a NY deli, Bagel Rising hits the spot. And the counter entertainment is second to none!

Seriously addictive bagels. I don't know what my friends and I would do without Bagel Rising. The store practically keeps us alive. Its not that there aren't other places to eat, its just that the food, staff, and service are beyond compare. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know.
