a destination spot. I bring all of my out-of-town guests to Drink, and it's usually the most memorable part of their visit. No one does cocktails like this place. For those who love lime, I recommend 'The Last Word.' It's worth every cent for one of their drinks, which I lovingly call 'Art in a glass.' The presentation, the taste, and the expertise of the bartenders makes this my favorite beverage place in Boston.
My Fave. This is one of my favorite bars in Boston, the one I drag other people to in order to make them believers. Each drink is a tiny, perfect jewel of cocktaildom. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but that's to be expected when the ingredients are all fresh, the bartenders actually know what they're talking about, and seem happy, even eager, to make suggestions. I also happen to think the food is great, although it truly is just cocktail party fare - don't try to fill up or you'll be disappointed. Go, have 1 or 2 perfectly crafted cocktails and a quick bite, then head on out for a more substantive meal elsewhere.
Good after 8pm gathering. You get what you paid for and the drinks even though pricey is worth it.

Despite the name-dropping, it is not a pretentious location and a very comfortable bar where you will have all your cocktail needs taken care of. A perfect place for a date, a business drink or a small gathering of friends. It's intimate and your drink is guaranteed to please. Try the punch or let your dapper bartender pick for you! You are sure to be served a piece of cocktail art, that is pleasing to all of your senses. Cheers!
Choose Your Own Adventure.
Two words: Custom. Cocktails. Drink's bartenders are skilled, energetic, and have an exceptionally wide repertoire of tipples to tailor to your specific cravings. From my group: "Cucumber!" "Something floral...wait. Lavender?" "Salty and sexy, like a margarita." "Something with scotch."
Order some snacks while you wait for your drink, which has a good chance of being a reinvented Prohibition Era cocktail muddled with fresh-plucked herbs. (I believe mine was The Aviation, and it had lemon verbena in it. Yum!)
Half the fun is trying out each other's concoctions, so keep Drink in mind when entertaining visiting out-of-towners, that friend who's seen everything, or your date. Try to come early. The space is sleek and inviting but on the narrow side, and it fills up quickly.

Despite the fact that it is in Southie (South Boston for all you college kids and tourists) this upscale and trendy spot does nothing but deliver the best individual cocktails in town. No two drinks have ever been exactly the same.
The half level-down set up gives you a different view of the street and allows for a "speak-easy"-esque feel to the entire experience.
Bring two things in with you when you come here...your cash and your imagination. One will be abused (cash) and the other will be amused.
IF you are a beer drinker fear not! They have multiple craft beers available.
My drink of choice....the Forte Point or the House version of a white russian. Something about whole coffee beans in my drink tell me "UP ALL NIGHT" as an acceptable reason to miss the family gathering the next day!
Excellent sevice and drinks, bad food. Very attentive bartenders and wait staff. The drinks were excellent. The food was not. We ordered the grilled pork appetizer. It consisted of five cubes of nicely garnished pork fat. Even though the drinks and service were excellent, I probably won't be going there again.

Ever get stuck in a cocktail rut? Your "usual" gotten old and tired? Nothing calling your name from the list of lemon drops and cosmos and espresso martinis? Do the Drinkmaster dropouts with the big boobs bore you?
Fear not. Drink is to the rescue.
The barstaff are cool, knowledgable and involved. They really want to give you what you want, even if you have no idea what that is. You want something tropical and bubbly, BAM! the most tropical, bubbliest deliciousness appears in moments looking absolutely gorgeous you just have to take an iPhone photo right now. You want a gin fizz? Taste that. Want more gin? More fizz? Is it perfect? You bet it is.
There's a cruise buffet sized arrangement of fruit, herbs and accoutrements behind the bar. You can have ANYTHING!
I must repeat that the staff are awesome. If it's not crowded and you can chat, do because these are good folks.
If this place wasn't all the way in the Seaport, I would probably be paying the rent with my tab
Interesting. Interesting concept. The room was cold and subterranian. I was very excited to hear about this bar since I was told that after a "mini" interview, the bartender creates a cockatil for you. That was not the case. I like the idea of getting back to old type of drink glasses. The ones that held a perfect size drink without have to add a lot of juice or water to make it look big. The perfect measurement of alcohol...and very delicate glass. The bartender had no idea what i was talking about when I said that I heard that the staff asks the customer their likes and dislikes and then creates a cocktail to fit their tastes. So instead i just asked for an an old fashioned gin martini. It was right on and stirred not shaken. Did not try any of the food, not too many people there but good on a stormy snowy night.

No cocktail menu means that each beverage is a consequence of an old-fashioned bartender-customer interaction--from Ramos Fizzes to the house twist on a Manhattan, the Fort Point--and open to each party's whim. Discerning cocktail geeks will adore the obsessive attention to ice, from the Kold-Draft cubes to the 50-pound frozen block that's chiseled and thwacked into cocktail-specific perfection. Those hungry can graze on haute-meets-vintage snacks like gougeres, swedish meatballs, and salt beignets; however, for something more filling, head upstairs to Lynch's other two musketeering eateries.
