Really retro, but good cuts for little money. I went to Miss Laura's because they were listed as one of the best salons for a cheap cut. The salon looks like a hole in the wall, which it is, but the stylists know what they're doing. I got a short haircut by Katie for only 30 dollars and I've been pretty happy with it. As far as I can tell, they specialize in the hipper haircuts, like 70s edges. If you're looking for a perfect cut and color from a high power stylist, Miss Laura's is probably not for you, but they do a good job for the money.

friendly stylists who really listen. i got my hair cut here today and i will be a loyal customer from now on. Dominique listened to what i wanted and wasn't in a hurry to get me out the door. when she was done we looked at my hair and she suggested a couple other things that made it look even better. it's also pretty affordable.

Funky, eclectic, some call it wierd. The services were ok and they were nice enough and the prices are low, but its too enamored with old (30's-70's) things for me. And they aren't open regular hours.

SWEET. This place was quite a little gem... great prices and a friendly staff. The decor was very cool, everything is antique from the great comfy barbers chairs to the 70's waiting area. I got the best color and cut for under $100...Sweet!

Best Cut & Color in Northeast!. While travelling in the Boston area, I found this salon and got THE BEST haircut and color from the owner.

Excellent prices, friendly staff and none of the hoity-toity attitude you'd encounter on Newbery St. (or in a bad episode of "Blow Out"). It's like hanging out in a friend's living room and walking out with a fabulous haircut and color.

Will continue to rack up frequent flyer miles to get my cuts & color at Miss Laura's.
