The Retro of the Retro. Located slightly off of Centre Street, regulars of 40 South Street are familiar with the store's unique menswear-inspired threads although it now offers ladies clothing and accessories.

The small selection of ladies items are located towards the front of the store. My eyes went immediately to the racks of practically new boots and shoes (note to self ladies). Picks definitely cater to the 70s and 80s, which is great if you appreciate patterns and bold colors. I found a cute, yet unique sundress on sale for $24, which included a matching belt.

After making my purchase, the clerk gave me a flyer for the 40% off sale starting in a few weeks. I'll definitely be back - with friends in tow.

fun and cozy!. tiny little hole in the wall thrift store...super friendly owner who is great to chat with about clothes and beyond...sometimes you can totally score here and get some cool vintage clothes. more men's than women's stuff
