I am sure they have very good doctors on staff specializing in unique areas of animal medicine. But the doctors you get in the ER are not fully qualified it seems. I don't know if they are still students or have literally just graduated but they missed diagnosied my pet two times and I had to end up going to my vet when it openned in the morning. They did not even take her TEMPERATURE which should be standard during a canine examination. I was not impressed and I felt they overcharge because they know we are at their mercy because they are biggest 24 hr. animal hospital in the Boston area. (Plus they are making up for the people they do not charge for their services.) I don't recommend them as an overall vet. Only in exreme emergencies.
Pros: Open 24 hrs a day, specializes in a lot of unique animal care not found to many places, lots of parking.
Cons: ER doctors not competent, office staff not pleasant, the wait is very long

Among the vets i called to ask, Angell was the only one i called and did specialize in hamsters (and other exotic pets such as birds). My dwarf hamster had trouble getting stuff out of her cheek pouches and Dr. Ritzman was able to help her!!! My hamster is now happy. Although the cost wasn't exactly cheap ($75, first time visit), to have a doctor who specializes in hamsters to look at my baby was worth it. I rather have a doc who specializes in hamsters than a doc who specialize in dogs/cats treat my hammy. I'm very thankful of them...... ^.^
Pros: friendly, accessible by bus, parking availiable
