Roadrunner makes moving a breeze!. Roadrunner makes moving a breeze! I have moved with them 8 times (I know) and every time was a wonderful, no stress experience. It is such a relief to work with them because there are so many details to consider when moving, this one is just checked off the list. Our most recent move was from California to NYC. Our movers in NY had to climb up 6 flights and we did not hear one complaint from Paul, Paul and Mathew. In addition to the great experience, their pricing is competitive and I would NEVER move with anyone else. I recommend them for any type of move big or small. Thanks Roadrunner.

Great experience. After a horrible experience with an unreputable mover a few years ago, I was determined not to make the same mistake twice. I did my research and narrowed my search to four moving companies which included Roadrunner. All the pricing was pretty close to one another, but I eventually chose Roadrunner since they offered an extra crew member to make the move go quicker. My wife wanted Roadrunner based on the fact that they offered ways in which we could make the move easier for our young children; a personal touch that was very nice.

They provided a complete estimate following a walkthrough from their estimator ... who was also very friendly. I had some concerns about drive time, breaks, etc. so to ease my concerns they offered the quote as a guaranteed maximum ... assuming we did and moved what we said we would. The time actually took a bit longer than estimated, but true to their word, they charged exactly what they quoted.

Every member of the crew was professional, friendly and very hard working. I don't know how they stay in such a good mood when working so hard, but they manage it and make a stressful situation much more bearable. All of our items were treated with care and I'm pleased to say that absolutely nothing was damaged!

I was very happy with the experience and highly recommend Roadrunner to anyone in need of their service.

Great Service at Great Price!. I was moving into a new place but needed my stuff stored for a week in between. The team at Roadrunner walked me through the process and stored my stuff for free! All other companies I called required me to pay upwards of $75 for a week of storage. The same two gentlemen moved my stuff out of my old place and into my new place. They were quick, efficient, friendly and professional. The entire experience was fantastic. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat!

Don't go anywhere else. I phone-interviewed three movers for my mum's move from a single-family house to a one-bedroom apartment. Though not very different in price, Dave @ Roadrunner spent time with me on the phone to explain the process, answer all of my questions and reassure me that they would make the move painless. Whenever I phoned or emailed him with questions, he responded promptly and courteously.

Paulo and his team did a fabulous job. They arrived at the appointed time, packed my mum's fragile things, took apart her bed, wrapped her furniture with great care and transported them to her apartment and set everything up. They even took some things out to curbside for rubbish collection. They were sensitive to the fact that this was a traumatic move for my mum who had lived in her house for 60+ years. Couldn't have been nicer!

I will definitely be recommending Roadrunner to my friends!

Great move. My husband and I moved the middle of February and had an excellent experience with Roadrunner. From Dave coming and giving us a quote that made us feel assured of the price we'd be paying to a truly inclusive cost with no extra fees. Our three movers (Terrance, Danny and Paul) showed up on time and within minutes our furniture was being wrapped and carried out onto the truck. They were very careful with each piece of our furniture and worked very well as a team. A few hours later and they were on the road to our new house, even preferring to go straight there to stopping for lunch. At our new house they really proved their worth with a narrow staircase and our new refrigerator managing to hoist it carefully without leaving a dent or scratch. They even helped moved the refrigerator the previous homeowners had left downstairs which proved to be a challenge involving a bulkhead and removing doors. The team was friendly, efficient and flexible. Our move was slightly over the quote, mostly do to a narrow laundry room door and the aforementioned refrigerators and totally worth it. It would have take us days and multiple rental trucks to do what they did in 6 hours. I cannot recommend them enough.

Superb Moving Company. This is the second move Roadrunner performed for us. The first was to move our entire household within Massachusetts. That move was performed within budget, on time and in a way that made our move far easier than our last move. This second move involved moving furniture and boxes we were storing in our basement to a home my parents occupy in Arizona. Once again Roadrunner came in on budget, on time and with wonderful service throughout. The price for the move to Arizona was very reasonable and the move was completed within our time frames – not under timing dictated by the moving company (an experience with had with another mover some years ago that really threw a wrench into our plans). Bottom line, these guys deliver value and quality at a reasonable price. We’ve hired them twice and we’d hire them again!

Best money ever spent. Leading up to our move out of the city, we had the stress of moving and were nervous about our paid permit signs being ripped down repeatedly by nasty neighbors. Dave and his crew relieved our stresses and when they showed up to replace the signs every day, covered and took precious care of our furniture, and met us at our new home 1 hour outside the city (even pulling in reverse in a tight driveway with ease!). You fear the worst when booking movers, having heard such horror stories like slow moving crews that take up extra time (and money), banged up walls, but that was not the case with us. Roadrunners was in constant contact with us to the day of the delivery, and simply the best money ever spent. I happily recommend them!

They're professionals, but don't trust their quotes. Aug/Sept. 09, I was looking for a company to perform an interstate move for me from Maynard, MA to Fayetteville, NC.

I wanted a company that would send a crew to put my stuff on the truck in Maynard and have the same team travel with it all the way without any “relaying”, no truck changes or stopovers, and deliver it in Fayetteville. I wanted a company that would offer packing services if I needed it, and I wanted a company that would treat my belongings as their own. And I wanted all that service at a reasonable cost.

After much internet research and reading of reviews, I chose three companies as “possibles” and called each of them to get a quote.

Roadrunner was the second company to come to my home to give me an estimate. Dave was very professional and personable and had a good sense of humor. It was obvious that he’d been in the moving business for a long time, and it only took him a quick look at my things to give me an estimate of costs for the move. He assured me that Roadrunner could provide everything that I was looking for.

We talked about scheduling, and we talked about the costs, then Dave left and said he would send me a quote by email. I decided to go with Roadrunner, based on Dave’s professionalism and all the assurances that he gave me. In the end, most of those assurances didn’t stand up very well.

I ended up taking delivery from some guy that I never met, and he showed up much later than I expected, turning it into a very long moving day ! And, worst of all, I ended up paying much more than I was quoted - to the tune of $800.00 So, would I hire Roadrunner again ?? Well, since I don’t live in Massachusetts anymore, it’s not an issue. However, if I did, would I use them again ? Probably not.

But having said that, I will give everyone at Roadrunner credit for being professional, and good at what they do. All my belongings arrived in perfect condition – nothing got broken or damaged in any way. So, for service and quality, they get good marks.

However, I felt cheated and robbed on the quote, and for that, I would not recommend Roadrunner to anyone else.

So efficient and reasonably priced!. We recently moved from JP to Roslindale, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received from Roadrunner. Moving is never a total joy, but they made it as painless as possible.
