The Roadrunner team was awesome! Not only were they friendly and great to work with, but they were so efficient we were moved in and out from place to place within four hours.

Next time I move I'm calling Roadrunner!

Great price, great service, excellent attention to detail. I highly recommend Roadrunner. We've now used them twice. The first time was our move out of Our Boston condo and into our house in the burbs. A small move at the time, but we felt like a very big customer. Lots of attention to our needs and immediate follow up to our questions and concerns though out the whole process.

The second time was a combo move-store-move in process. Like the first time, the move went extremely smoothly. The crew was on time, friendly yet professional, and provided outstanding service and attention to detail.

I have no plans to move again in the near future, but when that time does come, Roadrunner will be the mover.

Hire them, you won't be disappointed.

Great company and personal service. Roadrunner is professional, efficient, and responsible. They were done in less time than quoted and our new condo looked like a home already when they were done- the furniture was in place, rug unrolled, etc. I have used them three times and now feel like I know half the team. I recommend them highly.

Excellent Moving Company!!!. My husband and I moved from a 100 year old home in Charlestown, MA to Newton, MA on 8/24/2010. 8/23 and 8/24 were terribly rainy and windy days in short awful days to move.

Our roadrunner crew came on the 23rd to pack us and made sure to wrap all the pieces of furniture they could in advance in order to be prepared for the morning in case there was a window of time without rain as we had to have several items hoisted out of our home and it would have been too dangerous had there not been a dry period.

The crew (Matt, Tony, Elisio, Danny and Peter) arrived early on the 24th as it was not yet raining and got right to work on hoisting the necessary items out. They all made it into the truck before the rain began to fall! Had they not been so prepped the day before we would have had to postpone this part of our move!

From there everything else went smoothly. We were expecting an extremely stressful day as that was our experience when we moved into the home several years earlier. Instead the crew took all the roadblocks in stride and worked together to figure them out! They kept their cool and were all super polite and great to work with! You can tell they take their jobs seriously and use their brains to make what can be an extremely difficult and stressful day go as smoothly as possible!

We had some items in storage so when one truck was full half of the crew went to pick those up and the other half stayed and finished in Charlestown. Everything was unloaded in Newton in record time (much easier house to maneuver in!) and when we paid the bill that day they came in UNDER their estimate!!! We thanked them profusely for making a very complicated move easier and they answered with a smile and said 'once in a while we like a challenge'!

When we unpacked everything was in excellent condition. The only piece that got damaged was our patio umbrella and they are going to reimburse us for it!

I would also like to add that the crew NEVER stopped working! There were no lunch breaks, cigarette breaks- nothing! They worked non-stop and were courteous and professional throughout while maintaining a jovial attitude- tough to do when you are hoisting furniture over decks with a hurricane on the way!

Two thumbs up to the entire Roadrunner operation. I have used several moving companies and this one is the best BY FAR! They may be slightly more pricey but they are up front about their costs and don't ever go over estimate. It is money WELL spent in my opinion!

Great experience with Road Runners. Moving in Boston can be stressful and expensive, but my experience with Roadrunners was neither. Both the management team and the moving team were fantastic to deal with, and the rates were among the cheapest in the area. No surprises in billing, and no broken items. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a positive moving experience.

Brilliant Movers. Roadrunner are absolutely brilliant - their attention to detail, their care and concern were incredible. They were quick, but careful and not only were all the packers and removalists efficient, knowledgeable and nice but the ffice staff and owner were continually in touch with us during the process. We have used Roadrunner three times - for two internal moves in MA and then moving us internationally and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They understood the complexities of a move to Australia, they knew the items that might cause customs a problem ( ie certain types of wood) and they advised us and packed the items accordingly. they built special crates for some items and they stored our cartons and furniture as a convenience to us to allow us to move items out in stages. there is now way to descrobe Roadrunner, their management and employees in any other way than brilliant from start to finish. Also price wise they are very reasonable and much less expensive than another big company in MA. Everyone we know that has used them feels the same about them - thanks guys - simply wonderful!

Fantastic movers. I had a very complicated move from Chicago to Boston that involved local Chicago movers, Pods shipping, and Roadrunner Moving and Storage on the Boston end. Dave and the team from Roadrunner were great. They confirmed details with the Chicago packing company and Pods and made sure that my things made it to my new house on time, in excellent condition, and with no problems whatsoever. I cannot recommend them more highly--don't bother looking anywhere else in Boston.

Great Service, Great Job. My husband and I just bought a place and we decided to get professional movers rather than do it by ourselves and it was totally worth it. The service was great, the guys were really nice and made us feel relaxed. And it was surprisingly fast. We are so happy we ended up hiring RoadRunner versus moving ourselves.

Don't go with any other moving company. The staff at Roadrunner are very professional, helpful, and responsive. I originally called for a quote, then had a free in-home estimate, and decided to book my move with this company even though I got a lower price from another company. I felt like Roadrunner dedicated more resources to us for our move, even if we had to pay a little bit more it was worth it. On moving day (03/31/10), the staff showed up right on time, got to work right away, did a great job, and didn't slack off. They were careful with all of our items and very friendly and courteous. The same was true at our new home when the crew unloaded the truck. Although we received an estimate of 7 hours from start to finish, Roadrunner completed the job in about 5 hours. All in all, we are very satisfied and would recommend Roadrunner to anyone who is moving.

Making moving a better experience. These guys are great and I highly recommend them! They moved me from Baltimore to Boston. Their price was half (literally) of what Gentle Giant quoted me and the service was top-notch. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly good at their job. They were absolutely unfazed by the various challenges that presented themselves over the course of the move and I was truly impressed. I had a ton of stuff in my apartment and the way they packed the entire truck so everything just exactly fit - still managing to keep my fragile items safely on top - was honestly a work of art. When I got stuck in traffic and showed up late to unload there was no hint of annoyance on their part, they were completely nice and professional about everything. They even made another trip to my house later to drop off some little metal thingies (part of my lamp) that they had found in a sweep of their truck. I was worried about choosing the right moving company because it's huge to entrust people with your stuff... this was totally the right choice.
