This unassuming hole-in-the-wall bar has opened its doors to the Southie neighborhood's regulars for decades. Its nontraditional setup--with the bar in the back--means there’s more room to sit and spread out. The drink options range from $2.50 bottled beers (kept on ice, nonetheless!), to a $4.50 shot of one of their higher-end liquors (wallet-busting, we know). The jukebox and the TVs lining the wall provide plenty of fodder for getting to know the regulars, who will probably want to get to know you pretty fast.
