Try out the pastaaaaaa!!!! SO YUMMYY.
I had the Chicken Brocoli Ziti Alfredo saturday night and it was the best pasta i've ever had. The chicken was so juicy. The Alfredo sauce was very creamy and the pasta was covered with parmesan cheese. yummmmmmmmmmm
The place was ok, friendly service.
Meatlover's pizza, the best!!!. had the Meatlover's pizza last night. they have this secret sauce that they use in this pizza that i've never tasted in any other pizza. It's a pizza filled with all kinds of delicious meats. The Mozzarella cheese they use is very good. The delivery was fast and pizza was hot.
Great Food!!!!. I moved in South Boston 2 months ago and i had the chance to try a few places to eat. I went to L Street this Sunday and i already found my favorite place in town! had the Eggs Benedect. It was the best breakfast i've ever had the Hollandese sauce was so creamy and delicious. The place wasn't anything fancy but very homey. It was worth waiting in line to get in.
best pizza, best service. I was there this sunday and I had to wait a little bit to be seated but it was worth it. It's the best irish breakfast. Service is great and very friendly. Pancakes were out of this world, cooked perfectly, brown colored, (not whitish like other places make 'em) The Best place, best breakfast.
Holy Moley. Ok Me and one of my colleagues have been here 2 times now and I can't even beleive this is a Diner the food is so good. Homemade hash = AWSOME
Best place to eat... L street is the best pizza place ever. The food is delicious, and never mind the poeple, they make you feel like you are right at home. It's cozy, not expensive and clean. Most places you go its smells bad, or the dishes are not clean. The people are really nice and you can always meet the owner and the chef. The coffee is GREAT, you can create your own pizza, and you would be ble to eat the BEST and i said the BEST steak tips Ever. They also make Sicilian pizza, which its a pizza with 24 slices and you can get whateve you want on top of it. You should defenetly go and eat there sometimes..trust me you won't regret it...
great foosd friendly atmosphere in southie. i have been to L street diner many times and will probably go many more. it is one of my favorite places to have a quick lunch. their pizza is phenomanal and their steak tips are one of a kind. if you're thinking of going there i would recomend the steak tips in a heart beat. they have friendly waitresses that make you feel right at home. yes it is fairly small but that's the whole point of it being a DINER!
Straight down hill.... This used to be one of my favorite places but my last few experiences have been awful. If you call for delivery or take out the waitress no longer tries to disguise her agravation. She will huff and scoff and give sarcastic laughs at your order. My last order was steak tips with fries and a salad. The dinner cost about $12, not including tip. When I opened it I noticed there was no salad, only about 8 very small tips and hundreds of fries. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
This neighborhood diner is constantly filled with regulars and the sounds of Southie..
In Short
Generations of locals have come here for hearty roast turkey dinners, served with real mashed potatoes, house-made stuffing, gravy, squash and green beans, as well as knockwurst with baked beans. And the Irish breakfast with Irish bacon and blood pudding is sure to bring in diners longing for a true taste of home. Thick Boston accents provide an authentic soundtrack at all hours.
at least it's open. l street swings wildly in service and food, the pizza is solid and the coffe awful...you take your chances. IT IS OPEN MOST OF THE TIME
